Clean room, comfy beds, safety prioritized, considerate staff. WE DID HAVE WATER DURING THE WATER OUTAGE IN SAN JUAN. Even though restaurants did not have bathrooms open, and I assume locals unfortunately did not have running water, this hotel did. We had stayed in Old San Juan a few days prior to this visit and did not have running water due to the water outage (Mid-June 2026). The gate at the front of the hotel locks and customers buzz to be let in during front desk hours / use key when front desk is not there (late night/early morning). You are able to leave luggage in the lobby after you check out if you want to get breakfast/ do any activities before leaving for the airport or your next location. Make sure to tell Ubers to pick up on Calle McLeary. No noise complaints, could not hear any neighbors. Safe neighborhood, walkable at night in my experience. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Would recommend uber-ing to Old San Juan if visiting that area. The buddha water fountain in the lobby is very calming. :) Nice, small pool in the back. Great for a moment of relaxed down time in the hot San Juan summer! Good value, affordable.

This property is smaller and does not offer the amenities of a resort like property yet it offers what a person needs for accommodations while visiting the San Juan area. It is within walking distance to the beach, adjacent to a very safe neighborhood while also within walking distance to numerous eateries. It is a short Uber ride from the airport and a short Uber ride into old town San Juan and some of the excursions, such as boat tours on the east side of the island, offer a pick up location just a block away. The property has a very small pool and coffee/tea service but is not a “resort” with an exercise room, restaurant, etc. It is not fancy yet it is well-maintained and clean the staff is super friendly and helpful. The water pressure was great in the shower, and the in room air-conditioning unit worked sufficiently. You can hear noise from the road as the hotel is on a daily busy street. This is a good choice for a budget, friendly, conveniently located hotel especially if someone does not want to rent a car. If you are looking for a fancy, super updated, “everything just right” posh type place, this is not it. If looking for convenient location and budget friendly, this is a great choice.

Lovely eco conscious hotel! Staff were super friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean. Shower had good water pressure. Parking available. 5 min walk to the beach! Has beach stuff available to borrow. Walking distance to many food options.

Great location! Walkable to a beautiful beach and many restaurants. The staff was great and the property was very thought out.

We enjoyed our four night stay at the Dream Inn and would definitely stay again. The location is great - so close to beach, restaurants, bars, convenience stores - everything you need. We paid the extra $50 for beach chairs, cooler and umbrella which was well worth it. All staff were super friendly!

We unfortunately only stayed one night here. Don’t let the exterior fool you- the hotel is lovely!

Sun block was available as well as beach coolers and mats to use on the beach.
A/c was so cold! And shower had great pressure and hot water.

Great location, clean servicable rooms, friendly staff. 2 blocks from the beach! Wonderful roof garden for al fresco dining and enjoying San Juan's skyline with views of the Caribbean. Great for a short stay or a longer budget stay.

Wonderful family owned hotel. Rooms are clean and great for spending the night before cruising out of San Juan. Roof top area to enjoy. Small pool to unwind. Great value. Jorge the manager is quick to help. Delicious restaurants within the block and beach is short walk from hotel.

The location was great. Within walking distance to the public beach, and to many (very good) restaurants. Our room was nice and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to San Juan.

I loved the location

We stayed at Dream Inn PR the night before our cruise and had a very positive experience from start to finish. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxed pre-cruise stay.

One of the highlights was the rooftop deck. We enjoyed a glass of wine there while watching our daughter’s flight arrive—such a special and unexpected moment. The rooftop space is peaceful and offers great views, making it a perfect spot to unwind after traveling.

The location was convenient, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and everything was just as described. Dream Inn PR was an excellent choice for us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others staying in San Juan before a cruise.

Great location at a reasonable price for San Juan! We always stay here before and after cruise stops out of San Juan. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Jorge and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room had everything we needed, the location was wonderful and the staff was even better. Short walk to the beach, many food and drink options nearby. Felt safe at the Dream Inn and the area.Everyone is very helpful.

This is really a wonderful place. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat--two short blocks to the beach and walkign to all great restos. But what really stood out to us was the beautiful common areas and the incredible hospitality of the staff, all the front desk staff and a special shout out to Jorge! They let us store our luggage there and use their rooftop all day long after check out. Really a bonus and worth booking for that alone. But also, the hospitality is what makes you come back to a place, what makes it feel like home away from home. and Dream Inn is really killing it in going above and beyond. Thank you!! We will be back.
