Funny smells including cigarette smell in the first room.
Stains on carpet and couches.
Sticky floor in kitchenette.
Damaged baseboards in kitchen.
Mold in bathroom.
Badly needs repainted throughout.
Ceiling damage.
Insufficient lighting inside and out.
Insufficient options for charging phones.
Dangerous alterations to lamp plugs (see photo)

The room was dirty , dirty sheets and room smelt of cigarette smoke

Very dirty and run down. Ripped curtains and carpet, stained couch, very dirty bathroom, dust everywhere, dirty cutlery. We wouldn’t have been able to stay if it were more than one night and/or if the bedding wasn’t clean.

The room services were a let down. The beds were very uncomfortable, the blankets smelled stale and unwashed. The under bed was dirty and doesn’t look like it has been cleaned. The shower stall looks disgusting and the hot water, scalding and dangerous! There was a strong smell of marijuana from a room down stairs throughout my stay. Room was not cleaned throughout our stay. I can go on and on…

Very dated with a lot of issues evident with its lack of maintenance. Money needs to be spent on items that are visual to the customer eg. Mould in showers, handrails taped together, bogged holes etc

When we entered the room it had s musty smell. The carpets were stained, the cleanliness was very poor with easily cleaned build up in the corners of the floors and the walls. There was mould in the shower grout and not enough cups glasses and cutlery for the number of guests. Understanding this hotel is undergoing renovations, we were happy to be in an older room, but basic cleanliness was non existent. There were also only 3 towels for 5 guests

The pictures on booking.com did not match the room we got. The room we had was not well kept and had a funny smell to it. The toilet paper holder was broken, shower pressure was either really hot or really cold, the bathroom door knob to lock it was on the outside and not inside, limited kitchen accessories there were no frypan etc.

Very low water pressure in spa. Takes forever to fill,
Initial trouble with spa operation. Didn’t know to switch it on in the cupboard,
Tatty appearance everywhere although paperwork says that they’re going to be renovating,
Room had a broken window,
Small piece of floor tile missing that could be a tripping hazard,

We booked 2 x 2bedroom apartments. Apartment 1 - The fridge didn't work. Apartment 2 had black mould in the shower. ripped curtains. no external handle on the balcony door as it had been broken. holes in the bedroom door. scratches on the doors and walls. visible patchwork where holes in the wall had been filled.

We had a group stay at the property spread across numerous rooms and all had the same experience.
Unclean in general, dirty cutlery, unwashed spare blanket with what looked like toothpaste on it.
Stained lounges, musty smell/mould,
Heat pump would make a loud horrendous noise every few minutes. Rollaway bed placed in lounge room that was unmade with stained mattress.
Spiders and cobwebs. The carpet was unclean and sticky. Bathroom faucet felt like it would break every time it was used, mould in the washing machine, a dryer taped up with gaffer tape. Kitchen cooking utensils taped together.

We had the spa suite. Certainly would not be up to standard! Carpet was old and stained and terrible surface. Cobwebs in every corner and greeted by a large spider on arrival. Tattered curtains. A very old, dirty and stained couch that I would not sit on. Mould in kitchen vents. Lots of maintenance required on walls, doors and ceilings. Dryer looked to be a fire hazard. Entrance door did not close properly. Spa looked like it had not been used since 1980. We cleaned shower base before using. Only there one night so sucked it up. We entered a smaller double room and that looked way better than the standard of the spa suite, so other parts may be better as we didn't get to see much of other rooms.
