I’ve stayed at Baccarat many times over the years, but unfortunately the hotel doesn’t feel the same anymore. What used to feel warm, elegant, and truly luxury now feels much colder and less welcoming.
Another thing that became very noticeable is the constant expectation for tips from some staff members. Guests are happy to tip for good service, but lately it feels uncomfortable and excessive at times. This includes some bellmen, doormen, and even house car drivers.
The overall atmosphere and management also seem very different from before. It’s disappointing to see after so many years.
We are still in the hotel - it is wonderful. We are 3rd time in NYC and we think that is it the best hotel here. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Service is on the high top. So great to have some more days here. Marta and Rafał

Absolutely love the Baccarat hotel in New York. This is our only choice when we stay in New York. It's beautiful, the staff is incredible, and the location is the best. The lounge is beautiful and the bar is fun, with tasty drinks.

The pillows were to flat for my back.

The only complaint were the pillows. I should've requested more pillows because they were extremely flat and my neck and back were sore. It was late every night I got back in the room and I did feel like 📞 the front desk....the room was nice

Impossível utilizar o restaurante do hotel. Para tomar um café da manhã , demorava mais de 2 horas. Parei um dia apenas para tomar um café à tarde e esperei 30 min . Desorganizado. Demorado. Precisei comer fora todos os dias inclusive no café da manhã . Restaurante deixou muito a desejar . Um dia jantamos no restaurante , após esperar mais de 1 hora nos serviram uma pasta a bolonhesa que estava metade fria e metade quente . Cardápio também não é legal. Me decepcionei com o spa . Massagem sem nenhuma técnica . Como um conceituado spa La Mer deixou tanto a desejar . Precisei fazer mensagens em outros hotéis .
Very elegant, and effortlessly luxurious. It delivers that true New York glamour, but for what made my stay impeccable was service. Their whole staff team is amazing! Attentive, discreet, and always one step ahead, making everything feel perfectly taken care of. Can’t wait to be back!

Concierge was able to confirm hard to get day of reservations - we were impressed. Butler pressed wrinkled items at arrival (no charge). Beautiful Mercedes Maybach available for local drop offs at no cost.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect location! Staff are magnificent, hotel is absolutely stunning, for a young couple it is the perfect stay, quality and luxurious throughout!
