Charming stay in the centre of Ghent
Pros:

The hotel is located in the centre of Ghent, with all the main landmarks within easy walking distance. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated the helpful guide and map they provided. They also kindly allowed me to store my bags after checkout, which was very convenient.

Cons:

The room was on the third floor and there is no elevator, which the owners had already informed me about before my stay. Because of this, the property may not be suitable for guests with accessibility needs.
During my stay there was a heatwave, and the room became quite warm. Unfortunately, there was no fan or air conditioning, so the room may not be ideal during very hot weather.

Una VERA casa fiamminga: meraviglia!

Questo hotel è una vera chicca e lo straconsiglio a chi cerca qualcosa di speciale e totalmente diverso dalle strutture anonime, tutte uguali e per turisti. Questa è una casa, autentica e antica: il proprietario è una persona deliziosa che fa sentire i propri ospiti i benvenuti a casa sua. Se fate quattro chiacchiere con lui, vi racconterà un mucchio di cose interessanti. La posizione è vicinissima al cuore della città, ma fuori dalla confusione e, anche in piena stagione, si dorme tranquillamente con le finestre aperte: mai sentito così silenzio! E io ho il sonno leggerissimo. La stanza era ENORME, quasi un appartamento, arredata in stile antico, e il letto gigantesco è comodissimo. Anche il bagno è grande, con doccia e vasca separate.

Cons:

A me è piaciuto tutto, ma bisogna considerare che è un edificio antico, motivo per cui, per esempio, come chiaramente riportato sull'annuncio, non c'è ascensore, ma la scala è comoda (oltre ad essere una splendida scalinata di legno) e abbastanza larga per portare bagagli di dimensioni normali. Insomma è una struttura che va amata per quello che è ed è adatta a chi ama la storia e l'autenticità, non per il turismo di massa che cerca l'omologazione. Io ci tornerei anche subito: andateci e scoprite questa gemma particolare!

Chaud mais sympathique
Pros:

Charme suranné d’un très vieux bâtiment , personnel très agréable qui nous a parlé dans notre langue, petit déjeuner très bon avec beaucoup de choix.

Cons:

L’absence de solution pour refroidir la chambre.

Die Zimmer sind echt urig; wie in einem Harry Potter Film.
Allein die Teppiche und ggf. die Bäder bedürfen einer Modernisierung.
Ich war eine Nacht dort und fand es perfekt für einen Kurztrip.

The room was beautiful and huge! And the people and the service could not be better! Excellent choice! A must! It has been such a privilege and honour to be hosted there. It seems a palace and the experience was wonderful! Just perfect! Big thank you!

Handig voor een stedentrip

De ligging in Gent is fijn. Vlakbij parkeren en dicht bij het centrum. Goed ontbijt.

Zentral und ruhig, Früstücksraum und Hotel mit schöner Ausstrahlung, ruhiger Innenhof

Tolle Lage, in der Innenstadt alles fußläufig erreichbar. Zimmer und Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fahrräder konnten wir gut im Innenhof unterbringen. Gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal
