Relaxing
Pros:

Miguel was very helpful. Able to purchase tours from this hotel. Around this hotel they have several coffee shops and restaurants and gift shops with handmade items walking distance. Very colorful neighborhood.
People very kind and helpful.

Pros:

Lovely budget option! Room was comfortable and as it looked im photos, staff was nice, great location in jalatlaco and a 15 mins walk from the city center. They stored our luggage before and after check in and they called as a taxi. The room was cleaned every day and the rooftop is beautiful

Cons:

Make sure to let them know when you arrive because the front door is not open at all times so we had some trouble getting in when we arrived.

The hairdryer didnt seem to work. Power went down every time we tried. Everything else was perfect though

Cute hotel with good value though uncomfortable beds left me wanting more.
Pros:

The hotel is in a wonderful part of the city with lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. The decor is charming and the terrace offers a nice place to relax. It was clean and having AC was a big plus. Overall, it's a cute hotel with good value for a couple days in Oaxaca.

Cons:

The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable which meant we didn't sleep well during our stay. Turned out to be a big downside as it was hard to feel rested for our days of sightseeing. The towels were also quite scratchy. Nothing too serious but I often found myself wanting a slightly more upgraded spot.

Pros:

We stayed in total four nights in this hotel in two different rooms. The rooms on the upper level are great: quite and light. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood a little bit apart from the busy center but you can easily explore Oaxaca by foot. The roof terrace is amazing and the staff is very helpfull and we could store our luggage for three days while we very hiking. We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Cazomalli.

Cons:

The rooms on the ground floor are a little bit stuffy and dark

Tolle Lage und bequeme betten in grossem zimmer

Cons:

Es ist etwas hellhörig und wir konnten leider nur mit Bargeld zahlen. Das sollte man im kopf haben. Die Dusche war leider etwas veraltet und der Duschkopf ziemlich verkalkt

We had a great stay! The hotel is comfortable, spacious, and in a great location - walkable to the centre of town, and lots of great restaurants, cafes, and street art in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Süßes kleines Hotel mit eigenem Charme
Pros:

- Das Hotel ist total süß und individuell eingerichtet, fast schon kramig (im besten Sinne), sowohl der Innenhof, als auch die Dachterrasse bietet schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten.
- Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Es ist zwar alles ein wenig sehr in die Jahre gekommen (vor allem das Badezimmer), aber tip top gepflegt und sauber.
- die Lage war wirklich perfekt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar und trotzdem ist es in der Straße ziemlich ruhig. Die ganze Stadt ist ein Kunstwerk und die Straßen um das Hotel sind da keine Ausnahme. Außerdem gibt es Supermärkte, Bars, Cafes und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.
- die Gastgeber sind super nett, zuvorkommend und können perfekt englisch. Wir konnten eine Tour direkt an der Rezeption buchen, welche ebenfalls toll war. Wir haben ebenfalls sehr tolle Tipps für gute Restaurants erhalten.

Cons:

- die Betten und die Kissen waren einfach steinhart. Ich konnte leider sehr sehr schlecht schlafen und habe wahnsinnige Rückenschmerzen bekommen.
- Ein bisschen mehr Licht wäre toll gewesen, es gab zum Beispiel nur eine Nachttischlampe
- die Beschreibung suggeriert, dass man einen Balkon hat, was jedoch nicht der Fall ist. Beim Verlassen ist man im Innenhof, was ich jedoch weder als Terrasse, noch als Balkon definieren würde.
- Manchmal war es sehr laut innerhalb des Hotels. Wenn Menschen im Eingangsbereich waren, hat man sie im Bad gehört, als ob sie mit einem zusammen in der Dusche steht. Wir waren genau neben dem Fahrstuhl & wir haben uns zu Tode erschrocken als dieses olle Ding das erste Mal anging. So einen lauten Fahrstuhl habe ich in meinem ganzen Leben noch nie erlebt. Da es aber in der Nacht sehr ruhig war, hat es uns jetzt eher weniger gestört.

Basic hotel in a trendy neighborhood
Pros:

The location is in a great neighborhood with cafés and wall art, it is however about a 25 minute walk to the center of town where most things are located. Staff was friendly and called a taxi for me when I departed.

Cons:

Although the location is in a nice neighborhood be aware that you will be located next to the church, it rings its bells multiple times from 7:45 to 8am. Staff began cleaning the hotel at 8am, I had a room near the laundry machines so again, no sleeping in at this hotel. Shower is basic, but does the trick, you'll need to play around with it to get the hot water working well.

No Communication & No Refunds

The location is nice. Quiet and nicely decorated.

Cons:

I had a very unfortunate experience. Firstly, the beds are very hard. If you have a back or shoulder injury, you will be in pain. I also asked to switch rooms because of the bed but was told it wasn't possible. The beds were so uncomfortable that I decided I wanted to leave a day early and messaged & texted the night before to let the staff know. I had to leave early in the morning for a tour before the reception opened. I removed everything from my room and left the keys at the desk. Texted and messaged on booking.com to let them know. I also called them later in the day and no one picked up. I did everything within my power to let them know. I would have told the housekeeper but she didn't speak English. After the tour I returned hotel. They had not checked their messages in booking.com and their phone is a landline so the texts were not going through. I was told a refund was not possible but they offered me another room. I had already booked another hotel so that wasn't helpful and I don't understand why they didn't offer me that room when I originally asked. Really bad experience.
