Evening staff were engaging & professional. Nicely equipped rooms & hotel.
Excellent breakfast.
Receptionist was helpful. Nice view from dining room.
No evening meals available as fully booked at 5.45pm! Asked for bar supper, but refused. Had to go back into town centre for a meal. Heated buffet breakfast was awful. Coffee machine not working. No milk available twice. Shower in room was dirty and only dribbled through.

Friendly, relaxed but professional staff.
Breakfast was busy and a little chaotic because of coach tours needing to eat together. Staff could have helped non English speakers with the coffee machine.
Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable
The buffet breakfast was a bit haphazard as it seemed understaffed. Not clear where things were.
Nice clean room, comfortable bed and spectacular views across the river Tay.
Breakfast- one poor girl was doing everything and some of the hot trays were empty. Ran out of orange juice, not a lot of brown bread for toasting and coffee machine needed refill of beans. Staff tried their best to rectify, but in end we gave up.
Very comfortable hotel and will definitely book again.

Rooms are plenty comfortable, but don't have views. The historic hotel was charming. The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. Congratulated us on our honeymoon, but didn't offer any sort of nicety. Bus into town easy -- about £3 pp one-way--not cheap. Easy walk to botanical garden (but not much else)
Nice and quiet as long as there are no events going on in the hotel ballroom.
Wish we would've stayed closer to town--not quite worth the price for our tourism intentions. Would have rather spent on hotel w/ a gym, included breakfast, and/or solid location.
Food and drink are overpriced (particularly annoying when a hotel does this knowing that there are no other nearby options).
If there's an event going on, parking lot sound may be annoying.
No aircon, no conditioner/lotion, no refrigerator in rooms.
Floorboards quite creaky.

Beautiful hotel and fab big family room
Room a little too warm even with open windows but no air con , breakfast buffet not restocked often enough so no beans, mushrooms, tomatoes or even a slice of bread was available, waited 20 mins for bread to be restocked after asking .
Reception area toilets clearly not checked as one was stuffed with toilet roll and other was flooded all over floor .
Didn't really feel breakfast staff were very welcoming at all .
