We were upgraded to an executive room, which meant a bigger bed, very comfortable. Meals and breakfast were very good. Good location to stay and visit places.
We have stayed a few times before and always feel they could do with more staff. Perhaps have one dedicated person on the bar. Did have to wait a while before getting served as this seems to be done by the restaurant staff.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely and the view is fabulous.
A spa would make this place perfect!
most staff were very friendly and cheery, pwe had dinner 2 nights and the food was excellent and at reasonable prices.
Ther was a humming sound all night and i found it hard to sleep,i think it may have been the main boiler which was nearby. The first night at dinner we had to wait a long time for service,no one asked if we wanted drinks,i emphasise this was not the waitresses fault as she was run off her feet and was exceptionally nice, this was due to lack of staff.
Beautiful views. Big rooms. Lively front garden area for baby to run around. Reception staff lovely. Reception area and drinks area nice.
Price of hotel dinner was expensive for standard level meals. The service was SLOW at dinner then multiples of things coming out after so long of a wait, seemed very disorganised. Bit far from centre but able to get a quick bus literally outside hotel.
Location
Fully booked and could not eat at the restaurant
Very nice hotel
No it was all good
Location was perfect, in a lovely setting. Modern looking restaurant/bar, and a good breakfast
Quite noisy, but that’s a moan aimed more at the residents than the hotel.
Everything
From our room we could hear quite a bit of noise - water pressure pump andpeople walking up the hallway
Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Nice setting of restaurant overlooking the river.
It would be handy to have a fridge in the room.
Lovely, friendly staff! Really nice hotel, very clean and comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Only 2 staff on for dinner and was quite a wait to be served, but nice food and again staff were lovely.
Location,views and cleanliness
Rooms very hot.
Great location, minutes from town centre. Easy to access from main road from the west. The view from the restaurant makes you want to return just experience it again.

Receptionist was quite rude. Floors in corridor squeaked/ moved when people walked, matresses had seen better days
