Nice family evening
Pros:

The room was beautiful and comfortable

Cons:

Has no lift and given husband has walking difficulties that was an issue . Wouldn’t stop us staying again

A convenient hotel but could easily be better.
Pros:

Ideally situated just outside the city centre with ample parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu for evening dinner was quite short but the food was cooked and presented well.

Cons:

Our room was quite small with very little storage options. The toilet cistern constantly refilled making a noise and was not mended during our stay, even though we reported it as soon as we arrived. The bathroom was in need of redecorating.

Uitzonderlijke ligging, je kunt best wel tijdig aanreizen om een parkeerplaats te hebben.
Onverwacht zeer goed en kwalitatief hoogstaand avondmaal in restaurant "upstairs" boven de pub.

Excellent break in a very nice hotel. Invercarse is my personnel favourite in Dundee.
Pros:

Invercarse Hotel is a well kept in lovely surroundings with very pleasant staff.

The hotel has also been nicely redecorated very recently.

It is the Hotel we keep coming back to when visiting my son and partner

Cons:

Not a complaint but the room was only small compared to other rooms i have stayed in at the Invercarse but was still very well equipped and clean with all of the required amenities.

Could have been great but wasn’t
Pros:

Hotel and staff very good. Very well situated in Dundee with plentiful parking. Room very comfortable.

Cons:

Noise coming from a large , industrial sized vent near to our room completely spoilt the experience and it was impossible to get a restful nights sleep. Very disappointed as we had travelled a long way.

Don’t think even if you are a resident that you will be able to get a table for dinner

It was clean and tidy
The room was lovely
The staff were lovely and in particular the night porter Bernard was really friendly and so helpful
He was an absolute asset to the hotel although when I said that the night manager asked had he paid me to say it

I think he meant it as a joke

Cons:

We had to wait to get into our room as it wasn’t ready

The receptionist explained that the hotel had been full and there was only two people sorting out the rooms as there had been sickness

The two people worked really hard and definitely deserved a bonus

At the same time we were asked about booking for dinner and we explained we were waiting to hear from family who were still travelling and were told no problem

Unfortunately when we actually went to book the table we were told no sorry the restaurant is fully booked

We explained we are resident at the hotel again the receptionist went into the restaurant and asked about a table for us but were told no

The receptionist was very kind and gave us the name of a four places in Dundee as we didn’t know the area

Without her help I don’t know what we would have done

It is the first time ever that anywhere we have stayed has not been able to give us a table

I appreciate that the hotel was busy but as far as I am concerned it’s unheard of not to be able to have dinner

I loved it, it was a sad Time for me and the hotel made it better.
Pros:

The breakfast was exceptional, I’d like to say thank you to the chefs. I always saw staff keeping the hotel clean and tidy from hoovering carpets to polishing the brass handrails. It is an excellent hotel and I would recommend it.

Cons:

The best of us and the waiting staff could be increased as there was a lot of running around and stress for them.

room was nice no aircon but a fan supplied by reception when asked for the extreme heat.

Cons:

Restaurant shut early arrived at 8.20 pm and had to drive into city to get food.

Great short stay
Pros:

Spacious room and bathroom, cleanliness, facilities in the hotel.

Cons:

The only downside was lack of air conditioning, but its not very often Scotland is so hot!
