Zermatt is a car-free resort. You have to park your car in Täsch and proceed by train or taxi. During winter it is recommended to reserve a parking space in Täsch well in advance.

I inadvertently booked the room morning of arrival and unbeknownst to me I booked it for one week out, simple mistake. Went to check in and they pointed out error but would not credit me back. Had to book another room and conveniently manager wasn’t in and “might not be tomorrow either!”. Told me my mistake “cost them business” when in essence I GAVE them more business by booking a room for that day anyway. Bullshite policy and I’m fighting it

Mostly, and exceptionally comfortable stay
Pros:

Specifically, employee named Richard was very personable and friendly and helpful in every way possible. He did everything he could to help me as a disabled guest. Richard made me feel welcomed. Conversely, the man at reception was rude, unfriendly and as unhelpful as he could possibly be. He was the only person at the hotel who seemed annoyed at having to even answer my questions. He made me want to leave the hotel because he clearly didn't want me there.
Breakfast was exceptionally delicious, with tons of fresh choices. The room and bed were comfortable.

Cons:

The man at reception was the only part of my stay that was less than perfect. Luckily, I will never see his face again.

Geweldig hotel, goed doordacht. Mooie faciliteiten en een heerlijk ontbijt.
Pros:

Heerlijk nieuw hotel. Mooie ruime kamers met perfecte bedden. Heerlijk kunnen sporten en gezwommen. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, zeer uitgebreid en smakelijk.

Cons:

De apparaten in de gym zijn niet erg kwalitatief en een deel was niet aangesloten op elektriciteit, waardoor sporten eigenlijk niet echt een top beleving was.
