Direkt an Strasse
El hotel es muy cómodo, perfectamente decorado, y nuestra habitación, que tenía un pequeño balcón, era una gozada. No obstante, lo que más nos gustó fue la atención del personal del hotel. En recepción, tanto a la hora de hacer el check-in como a la salida, nos atendieron muy bien, se preocuparon por nuestras necesidades y nos hicieron la estancia muy agradable. Volveríamos sin duda.
Igual que comento en otros hoteles, sería estupendo poder optar por un pequeño desayuno sencillo a un precio inferior al ofrecido. Para quienes desayunamos un café con una tostada, pagar e desayuno completo es una barbaridad. Es solo una sugerencia.

Best thing about the room we paid extra for was the terrace - possibly because it lets you escape the poor quality room.
Terrace still had its faults, came with power sockets that didn’t work, random object with a plug on it didn’t do anything - we thought it was maybe a light? Some string lights over the concrete pillars above would make a nice touch - something to consider.
The breakfast is really good, with nice clean working rooms this place could be fantastic.
On paper it looks close to the nearest Metro, Sao Sebastiao, the walk however is mostly up hill so with bags just something to consider, You also pass a prison and a huge empty lot, so its not in the best part of town.
When you finally find your room via a slow and busy elevator you are greeted to a labyrinth of stained carpets in the hallway.
Upon finding your bedroom… Bedboard is filthy… bed frame is also peeling and just generally poor - this is the first thing you see in the room it should impress you not make you recoil.
Fixtures and fittings throughout need replaced, worn, dirty, not something id expect in a 2 star let alone a 4. The wall lights, I don’t know what’s happened to them, dropped in a toilet? They need replaced ASAP.
Photos of the rooms are not what you will get, you see nice looking dressing gowns and slippers - You do not get these.
Table and chair for laptop - Not in the terrace room we had.
Cups in the room are plastic, both had leaks/cracks in it. They do provide you glasses downstairs if you ask though.
Room didn’t come with toilet roll, had to go ask for some, A minor point but it just adds on to a general negative about the whole service.
Wifi was slow and did not work very well.
TV is locked down to very basic functionality, couldn’t connect HDMI or do any sort of streaming on it.
Reception didn’t seem to care about our issues, Reported the tv issue 3 times, in the space of an hour was told ‘She is on her way to look at it’, ‘Maintenance is too busy’, ‘He’s actually went home for the day’…The maintenance person changed sex apparently! In defence to one nice gentleman, he came up to try look at it but without support from maintenance sadly was not of much help - I felt sorry for him but appreciated the attempt.
No iron or ironing board.
The hotel is in the flightpath of the hotel so you will hear planes every minute, we did sleep fine all 4 nights though so perhaps the airport is shut overnight or we sleep really well.
The hotel is old and it stinks! They are trying to cover the smell with very strong air fresheners but the sewage like smell can still be felt in the bathrooms. Bathrooms also have black mould - I’d not stay in this hotel again.

The bed was so comfortable and the reception staff were really lovely. It was surprisingly nice and quiet. Shower was great.
The aircon wasn't working so it was too hot.
The bar staff upstairs weren't very friendly
