Very nice stay!
Pros:

Our evening meal was excellent, made all the more special with a fox trotting through the garden. We also had a very nice chat with James in the dining room. Breakfast too was very good.

Cons:

One thing which would be useful in the bathrooms would be a mirror on a wall where make-up could be applied at close range…the large mirrors in the room and bathroom were awkward having to lean across a table or sink to see closely. Fortunately I always carry a standing mirror with me for this reason!
Also the TV was useless with no decent reception and Page 80 (?) for information regarding our stay could not be reached.

Average at best, poorly ventilated property and no EV charging

Cons:

The rooms were extremely stuffy, poor ventilated and too warm. The corridor was smelt of cigarette smoke. Fresh milk wasn’t available in the top up area. The EV charger was broken.

Beautiful location but hotel is very dated and needs a lot of attention
Pros:

Very good quality breakfast. Beautiful set up and a great location.

Cons:

No air conditioning. EV charging advertised but nobody was able to make it work. So essentially we could not get our car charged there which we planned beforehand. The double room was very small and with no air con it was unbearable to sleep with just a small fan.

Pros:

Great location on the edge of Endcliffe Student Village. Lovely and green and relatively close to cafes, shops and bars. We have stayed several times. It's very quiet during Uni holidays and more lively in term time but we have never been disturbed by noise.

Cons:

Breakfast was smaller with less variety and not as fresh as when we were last here around 2 years ago.

Well located for the university
Pros:

Lovely hotel, close to the University of Sheffield where we were attending our daughter's graduation. We stayed for one night, bed and breakfast and we were able to park on site - you need a pass from the hotel reception. We booked two double rooms for the same price but one was substantially bigger than the other. Coffee machine with pods and tea bags were provided. Each floor also has a station with extra supplies and biscuits which was a really nice touch. The bathroom was huge and provided toiletries. Bathrobes and a safe could be found in the wardrobe. There is no air conditioning but a fan is provided. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with the choice of cereals, pastries etc as well as a hot breakfast menu. The bar was perhaps a little expensive but I guess hotel bars always are. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were very friendly, helpful and professional. Any minor issues were dealt with immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The only negative was the lack of a fridge in the room. A small fridge for keeping drinks cold would have been very welcome.

Perfect location for this side of Sheffield at a great price.
Pros:

Perfectly located property for the event we were attending nearby, situated in a quiet neighbourhood but still close enough to walk to vibrant restaurants and bars.
We were able to extend our check out for a small fee and the car parking on site was great.
Breakfast was delicious and as we had an early start rather than miss out on a cooked option completely the team did us a breakfast cob to take away, very much appreciated and over and above our expectations.

Cons:

Nothing it was all spot on.

The building, it was beautiful. The staff were helpful and cheerful. The breakfast had a lot of choice and was perfectly cooked

It was a little farther out of the centre of Sheffield than I expected

Pleasant and slightly quirky
Pros:

Location and garden, informal but helpful staff. Quiet bedroom.

Cons:

Not enough staff for the number of guests and visitors wanting drinks and service on our first evening . Open plan foyer and bar area afforded us nowhere quiet to sit on second evening .
