Nothing negative to add
I travel a lot but this is the hotel I always look forward to staying in. Very reasonable prices which include an extensive breakfast menu.
Fancier hotels could learn from Halifax Hall - it's the little details that impress. A decent coffee machine in each room and a refill station on each floor with fresh milk, coffee pods and free snacks (including Tunnucks!)
Bathrobes provided too.
The on-site restaurant is handy if you don't want to go out for an evening meal.
It was a lovely old building in a leafy setting. It was easy to get to and in a quieter area outside of the City centre.
The room was spacious and had a large shower room.
The ‘top up stations’ on each floor with fresh milk, biscuits, tea and coffee were a good facility.
It was on the edge of a University ‘village’. Not that it was noisy or overrun with students.. it was, for me, a strange location.
Good location , nice and polite staff. Very clean .
Tasty breakfast.
Bad ventilation , room was very hot.
Location and luxery feel
The only things missing are a magnifying mirror and lotion in bathrooms
Location, bathroom was good
Expected bigger room for the price , ambience was not really the boutique hotel that it’s marketed as eg breakfast room lacked atmosphere
The biscuit stations!
Nothing, it was great
The location and how close to the night life of Ecclesall road
