Jaisalmer is a gem

Superb rooms, comfortable, quiet sleep, helpful, kind staff in an exquisite setting!
Pros:

The rooms were beautifully decorated, super comfy beds, with delicious breakfast and coffee on the roof with a fort view. Excellent hosts, the airport driver was kind and informative, and Vasin was an exceptional support, everyone was truly kind and helpful, so I glad I chose the Hotel Royal Haveli!

Pros:

We were given suite upgrade free of cost as per the staff which was nice at first glance. Property looked truly beautiful, aesthetic and room was nice.

Cons:

Lacked basic room facilities. No blind curtains and were letting outside light so I was not able sleep properly.

Die Hotel-Crew war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend auch wenn es ausschließlich Männer waren und sich das als weiblicher Gast immer falsch anfühlt.
Ich bin spät angekommen und dennoch hat der Manager es möglich gemacht, dass ich den Abend bei einem Feuerchen in der Wüste unterm Sternenhimmel verbringen kann! Eine Thermoskanne Kaffee hat er mir auch noch mitgegeben.
Am nächsten Tag hat er mich mit Motorrad zum Fort gefahren, das fand ich schon ziemlich cool.

Excellent Stay at Royal Haveli – Highly Recommended!
Pros:

We recently stayed at Royal Haveli Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, especially the reception boy who made us feel very welcome.

The hotel features a beautiful rooftop restaurant with an amazing view of the Jaisalmer Fort, and the food served was absolutely delicious. Our room was fresh, neat, and clean, with a lovely balcony (jharokha) that added a charming touch.

The location is perfect—everything is within 5 minutes walking distance, including the fort, lake, railway station, and bus stand. They also arranged a comfortable AC cab and a great desert safari experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall, Royal Haveli offers excellent hospitality and services. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

Le personnel était aux petits soins et nous a permis de laisser nos bagages durant notre safari, ainsi que de prendre une douche après celui-ci en attendant notre transport.
Vraiment très gentils et charmants!

Cons:

Quartier assez bruyant, notamment a cause des travaux a côté, mais c'est passager.

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Jaisalmer
Pros:

I couldn’t have made a better hotel choice for my stay in Jaisalmer! The location is simply perfect — within easy walking distance from the intercity bus drop-off point and all the main sites, including the majestic fort. One of my favorite moments was relaxing on the rooftop terrace, enjoying the stunning fort views at the sunset.

Even though I visited during the offseason when temperatures were soaring, the room remained wonderfully cool thanks to the thick stone walls and a powerful AC. I absolutely fell in love with my room — the authentic Rajasthani layout and beautiful decorations made it feel so special. The bed was really comfortable and spacious. The window chambers were incredibly cozy, providing the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a full day of adventure.

The staff truly made my stay unforgettable. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Milly, Sumar, and Yasin for taking such wonderful care of me. They ensured I experienced the real spirit of Jaisalmer, arranging a memorable trip to the desert and looking after me every step of the way to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and happy.

I’m already dreaming of coming back to this marvelous city and this incredible hotel to explore even more of what Jaisalmer has to offer. Highly recommended!
