Cons:

Dinner was incredibly slow. Not five star service at all. The evening meal and service really let the hotel down. They had just started their new tasting menu, so all focus was on that and not the main restaurant.

Best birthday trip away ever
Pros:

I loved the location, the food, the staff were so friendly, the amount of the things to do at the hotel alone was great.

Cons:

The one thing I didn’t like was the bed in the room we stayed in because it was on chains and swung. And I’m quite a light sensitive sleeper, so it moved every time we moved. But that is the only negative.
