⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Outstanding Experience!
Pros:

Our stay at Chalet Al Foss was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The entire experience was truly outstanding, and every detail made our stay unforgettable.

One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast experience with the alpacas. It was such a unique, beautiful, and memorable moment! Being surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery while enjoying breakfast with these adorable animals made the experience feel like something out of a dream. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

What made our stay even more special was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were simply incredible.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit atemberaubender Aussicht und einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück hervorragend und auch das Mittagessen hat uns überzeugt. Besonders die traumhafte Lage in den Bergen und der beheizte Pool machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen! 🤍🏔️

Leider waren wir mit unseren Erfahrungen im Restaurant nicht zufrieden, was angesichts des Anspruchs eines Fünf-Sterne-Hotels besonders schade ist.

Bereits bei unserem ersten Abendessen kam es zu einer Enttäuschung. Ich hatte die Basilikum-Pesto-Nudeln bestellt, die allerdings kalt serviert wurden. Auf unsere Nachfrage, ob diese grundsätzlich kalt serviert würden, wurde uns dies vom Personal bestätigt. Das hat uns sehr verwundert, da wir andere Gäste kennengelernt haben, die dasselbe Gericht bestellt hatten und es warm serviert bekamen. Als kleine Wiedergutmachung wurde uns eine Nachspeise angeboten, bei der ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass diese aufs Haus gehe. Umso enttäuschender war es, im Nachhinein (leider erst zuhause) auf der Rechnung festzustellen, dass uns die Nachspeise dennoch berechnet wurde.

Auch unser zweites Abendessen verlief leider nicht besser. Auf der Speisekarte stand eine Trüffelpizza, die regulär mit Schinken und Kartoffeln zubereitet wird. Da wir lieber eine Margherita mit Trüffel gegessen hätten, fragten wir beim Service nach, ob diese Variante möglich wäre. Uns wurde im vornhinein gesagt, dass Wünsche an die Küche grundsätzlich immer möglich gemacht werden.
Die Mitarbeiterin sagte uns zu, dies abzuklären, und fragte, welche Pizza wir alternativ bestellen würden, falls die Änderung nicht möglich sei. Wir entschieden uns für die reguläre Trüffelpizza (mit Kartoffel und Schinken) und gingen davon aus, dass uns die Mitarbeiterin noch einmal Bescheid geben würde.

Leider erhielten wir schließlich die Trüffel-Pizza allerdings ohne Trüffel. Da laut Speisekarte der Trüffel frisch am Tisch über die Pizza gerieben wird, warteten wir zunächst darauf. Erst nachdem wir selbst beim Personal nachgefragt hatten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Trüffel nicht mehr verfügbar sei. Wir konnten nicht nachvollziehen, weshalb wir weder darüber informiert wurden noch eine Pizza serviert bekamen, die wir unter diesen Umständen überhaupt bestellt hätten.
