Hotel Privo

Unfriendly hotel staff, but restaurant staff were fine. Sofa was dirty with questionable stains. Door handles were loose. Toilet seat vibrated as if there was an earthquake, potentially due to vibrations from some hotel equipment below. No water or coffee in the room. Very uncomfortable and hard bed. Certainly not what one would expect of a 4-star hotel.

One night stop for us…Wide options for the buffet breakfast and tasty food. Very comfortable bed and everything high standards. Spa facilities were “cherry on top” for the stay! Would really love to come again!

The property was in a good location. Very clean. Restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner.
Service was excellent by all staff.

Nice room, most staff are good. Food excellent and good value. Phone didn’t work in either room we had reserved. Housekeeping not great, no clean towels and replacement items in bathroom.

First of all, I would mention the exceptional quality of the services: the cleanliness, the extraordinary food: gourmet - in the true sense of taste and freshness, very kind and friendly staff and a service concept as close as possible to the client's wishes.
We were nine people (family and friends) and we will definitely return to this hotel!

Quality control is lacking, a need to check the rooms more often in detail might help to prevent customers to complain about broken or nor working things. Some of staff need training on how to greete and assist customers in a hotel at this level.

Room: big, nice design, cleaned every day, safety deposit box, mini bar, no balcony
Bathroom: nice design, free toiletries
Spa: in fact, it is a mini spa (jacuzzi, 2 saunas, literally 2 chairs and 3 sunbeds on the terrace. The sunbeds are usable only in horizontal pozition)
Common areas: spotless
Breakfast: normal continental one; nice terrace at the restaurant
Parking: outside there is free parking but it can get crowded (especially if there is any party organised); undergroud parking - 50 lei per day.

Everything is on the top. We recommend this hotel as it is the best in the area.

The hotel has a very modern sterile feel. We had an executive room with a bathtub in the middle which would have been fine except the water pressure was so poor that by the time you could get enough water in the tub to sit in it was luke warm at best. The rooms have a minimalist feel. They are decorated/painted black and white. No décor on the walls which some may like but we found a bit harsh. Be careful where you set your cell phone if it is black as it will blend in with the surface you set it on. The curtains were very light and provided privacy but no light blocking so your up with the sun if your a light sleeper. The bed was comfy and the room had adequate plugs for your devices. The restaurant had good food and a nice presentation. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. They have some parking outside that is free if open if not there is underground parking for a fee.

Nice rooms, with great view, very good food. But the best experience was with the people. All the staff is friendly and helpful. And the tea in the rooms is confort in November cold days. Thank you, Privo!
