Nice area, decent hotel, convenient rental of bikes at the hotel
Pros:

location is good, close to some nice cafes and markets and nice areas although better to have bicycle to travel around easily. Shower in the room was good, comfortable and with high pressure

Cons:

Room was tiny, very difficult to move around, looked much better on booking photos. Curtains looked like they hadn't been washed in a long time. TV channels didn't work, the program kept re-setting and TV closing down.

Very good and very comfotable
Pros:

We arrived just before the girl on duty was due to leave for the night but she was extremely helpful and stayed around making sure all was ok fior us.

Good hotel but don’t book the basement
Pros:

Good location, easy to walk to bars and restaurants and around Amsterdam generally. Nice room, clean with very comfortable bed and good blackout curtains.

Cons:

Originally we were due to stay in a basement room, but when we entered the room there was a strong smell of sewage. However the staff kindly moved and upgraded us.
