Heerlijk weekje gehad in Huis Vermeer.
Pros:

Het hotel heeft een mooie uitstraling, fijn terras zowel voor als achter.
Fijne lokatie in de stad.
Wij verbleven vier nachten in het hotel en kregen een upgrade van een aller aardigste dame.

Nice Place to Stay: Great Location
Pros:

Last minute booking, after someone suggested breaking up my trip with a quick overnight visit to Deventer. I arrived during the annual fair, and many roads were closed. The hotel is right smack on the central square, so was affected. I was not able to use their parking but the lot by the bridge was only a short walk away.

The hotel was taking advantage of the fair to remodel the restaurant, but disruption was kept to a minimum.

My room was very clean, and the bathroom appeared to have been (very) recently remodeled. It was one of the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen in Europe. The fixtures were particularly nice. I feel odd saying that, but they just stood out.

I had room #8, which was an attic twin room. In the hotel photos, it looks dark and tiny so I didn’t expect much. In reality, it was spacious and bright, with a skylight.

I didn’t really have time to experience the “OMG!” Experience others guests seemed to rave about, but it was a very nice hotel and the lady at the reception desk was particularly helpful.

Het pand. De kamer was mooi.

Cons:

Ontbijt vond ik karig. Alles was mini. De broodjes waren erg klein. Het beleg niet bijster smakelijk, het ei hardgekookt. Weinig keuze.
