Ante la duda, West End siempre mejor que el centro
Pros:

Yo había vivido en Glasgow hace tiempo y era la zona donde quería pasar los días de vacaciones junto a mi pareja, por lo que conocía el entorno del West End y sabía que era la mejor zona de Glasgow. El alojamiento además está al lado del parque y de bares y cafeterías muy buenas. Respecto al alojamiento nos quedamos en la habitación 3 que está en el primer piso y muy bien, la habitación es amplia, techos altos y ventanal con cortinas opacas. La cama y las almohadas eran cómodas y estaba todo muy limpio. Yo soy muy alérgica al polvo y en principio buscaba alojamiento sin moqueta, este alojamiento tiene moqueta y no tuve ningún problema. El personal es muy amable. En resumen, buena zona, personal amable,comodidad y limpieza.

Sandyford lodge is a very good choice for a budget stay in a great location in Glasgow.
Pros:

Great location close to good bars and restaurants but quiet area. Also close to Hydro, about 15mins walk.

Cons:

There was no hanging space for clothes in the room and we were staying for 3 nights and needed dress clothes such as suits and dresses, so that was a bit inconvenient. The bath towels were very thin and one was almost threadbare.
