Pros:

The rugs need to be replaced so dirty and stained, cleaners come and do t do a big clean. Dont even vaccum unless you ask, twice I was in the room when they came to clean. Same mop used in the toilet and room. Stuff hygiene needs improving. Body odour is l fr in the room once they leave after cleaning, I have had this issue everytime I stayed in the Marriott Kochi. Previously as well I have brought up this issue. They need to make sure the staff has a shower and uses some kind or deodorant before they start work. They hotel need to provide this if they cannot effort to buy.

Pros:

Excellent customer service, great team at reception, in the restaurant and from the door porters. Housekeeping kept the room in amazing condition for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was superb coupled with friendly and attentive staff.

The breakfast and dinner buffet were exceptional and high quality.

Our stay at Marriott Cochin was an average experience overall. Unfortunately, the front-of-house staff did not seem particularly well-trained. Upon arrival, we were simply handed the room keys and had to find our room on our own. There was also no explanation of the hotel’s facilities, services, or breakfast arrangements, which would have been helpful for first-time guests.

The room itself was quite small and not as well maintained as expected, especially considering the price point. As a result, we felt the overall value for money was only average.

On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and quality of food. We also appreciated the buggy service connecting the hotel to Lulu Mall, which was convenient and efficient.

Overall, while there were some good aspects to our stay, there is certainly room for improvement, particularly in guest service and room maintenance.
