Ideal for short stay
Pros:

Good location and reasonable priced

Cons:

Power cut on our second night. 19 hours no electricity from 10.00 to 05.00 . Arrived back at the hotel with just one phone light to climb four floors. No help from staff with torch or candles.

View was excellent the location was better than I expected The hotel was a little smaller than I expected but was a really nice place to be Staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Maybe a fridge in the room but as was just mooching from place to place it really didn’t bother me

Nice hotel with excellent harbour view
Pros:

Excellent location, a very short walk to the high speed ferry. Restaurants and sightseeing all around. Some rooms have beautiful view of the harbour. Beds, pillows, linens, and towels all good. Shower water pressure is excellent. Breakfast has many options. And the staff is kind with regard to checking out and leaving luggage, etc.

Cons:

Not much we didn’t like! Great stay. Maybe provide conditioner in addition to shampoo. And a mirror beside the hair dryer.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 301 mit einer grossartigen Aussicht über den Hafen. Die meisten Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer läßt sich nicht individuell regulieren, es gibt für den Gast nur die Möglichkeit, sie an- oder auszuschalten. Tagsüber war das kein Problem, aber in der Nacht war die vom Hotel voreingestellte Temperatur zu kalt zum Schlafen, da auch die Stärke des Gebläses nicht zu regulieren war.

My friend decided to take one of the hotel's towels to visit a local swimming stop. Upon our return, we are stopped by what I can only assume was the manager asking for our room number. Upon confirming our room number, she says that we have no right to take the hotel's towels and asks for us to hand it over so she can inspect it. She then proceeds to check every corner of the towel in front of us, front and back, hoping desperately to find a hint of a mark on it. After a few painful minutes she concedes that there are no marks on it and returns the towel. My friend and I were made to feel like children being reprimanded and not like the paying guests that we are. Everyone takes hotel towels. I think the hotel should instead focus on the uncomfortable bed, non-flushing toilet and mould in the bathroom versus the damage that may occur to a 2 euro towel.

I have stayed here several times, in varied types of rooms and everything was perfect.
Pros:

This has been my third stay and definitely not the last one, this hotel is a gem. In my last review I wrote that the net had been a bit shaky - this time it was consistently good.
Rooms are cosy and spotlessly clean, kettle, tea and coffee are prepared - with good quality Nescafé at that -, and every member of the staff is helpful and efficient. This last visit of mine happened in July, so air-conditioning was essential, it worked perfectly.
Bathrooms are always clean and well-arranged (not just squeezed in, as in so many other places), towels are soft and toiletries (shower gel, soap) are of really good quality.

Breakfast is served in very nice surroundings, with a wide selection of food, ranging from continental stlye to a hearty British meal, completed by local pastries (pastizzi, cannoli) and fruits. Espresso is real and strong, fruit juices are delicious.

The roof terrace is an additional bonus, one can idle there for hours in perfect peace and quiet, basking in the sun or just enjoying the view of the harbour and the sea.

Last but by far not least, parking is not only possible but also easy, which is a great asset, as taxi drivers can stop in front of the hotel, The ferry is just a few minutes' walk, so are the sights (parks, museums, restraurants, main streets). Central location is, however, in no way to be feared, as noise from surrounding bars can hardly be heard in the rooms.

Cons:

I liked every detail, without missing anything. Other reviewers complain about not having a fridge in their rooms - I see their point, yet I think we can manage without it.

Pros:

La ubicació és perfecte! Cèntric, però tranquil.
El llit doble molt gran i còmode.
L’esmorzar, correcte.
Les vistes, precioses.

Cons:

Només funcionava un endoll a l’habitació i lluny de la tauleta de nit, per la qual cosa m’havia de posar el despertador varies vegades durant la nit i aixecar-me per poder carregar els diferents mòbils i coses.
La dutxa de la meva habitació estava mal protegida i era incòmode dutxar-se veient tota l’aigua que sortia fora, inevitable.
Un lloc no recomenable per a mobilitat reduïda.

Pros:

The location of the hotel. Very close to all the shops and restaurants. Incredible views of Valletta Harbor from your hotel room. Great restaurant/bar below the hotel was also a catch. Hotel staff were super friendly. Very helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. No complaints. Highly recommend staying here.

Pros:

Accommodating receptionist from Italy …my roommate and I are vegan, and she was leaving at 4 am. My roomie wasn’t feeling well, so I got a sack lunch of fruit and crackers.

Cons:

Please consider vegan protein options for breakfast like beans.
