Pros:

The bath and sauna were the only redeemable qualities of this establishment.

Cons:

The room is tiny despite their best attempts to look bigger in the photos. That would be ok, but the cleanliness just isn't a priority. The first room I was given had a heavy cigarette smell even though smoking isn't allowed. I was given a different room and there was signs of poor cleaning everywhere. The worse of it was the pajamas that I was given, they clearly had been with worn.. they smelled of sweat.

The slippers also aren't new, they sanitize them very poorly. I assumed they were new and my feet started itching after my first use. I couldn't wear the pajamas or their slippers after that. They don't seem to value customer's comfortability. I guess it was my fault for thinking the APA was bad and I wanted something different.... just not dirty. The beds also are dirty, they just change the sheets without thoroughly cleaning the beds. The beds smell of mildew and the carpets too, I will never stay at this brand again.

Pros:

The amenities that came with the hotel were great, the staff were very helpful and I felt very comfortable. The baths and sauna on the top floor were very relaxing. The entire hotel was very clean and welcoming. The free noodles saved me on my first day when I was jet-lagged from the flight and were absolutely delicious. The location of the hotel was also very good, lots of transport links nearby and near museums in Ueno park. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Conveniently located small hotel with hot spring
Pros:

Offered many drinks for free in the afternoon. The pillow suits me.

Cons:

Need to wait a long time for the lift. I recall some Dormy Inns offer free coffee in the morning for guests not having breakfast in the hotel. But this one does not.
