朝ごはん

Cons:

まずエレベーターが混んでいて10分位待つ。待つ場合の方が多い。待ってもようやく来たエレベーターはパンパンで乗れない。本来宿泊者以外出入り禁止のはずが宿泊していないと知っても部屋まで行くことを許していた。海外からの客を受け入れているのにスタッフが英語が話せていなく、意思疎通に時間がかかり私の受付が片手間だった。部屋の掃除はしなくていいですと伝えたけれど、外国人スタッフが部屋番号を間違えていて、日本人スタッフに改めて部屋番号と名前の照らし合わせをして掃除はいらない旨を伝え直した。中国語を話している客の数が多かったし声も大きかった。部屋が大分狭かった。多分今まで滞在したどのホテルよりも狭かった。唯一鏡とライトがあるシャワールームも化粧ポーチや洗顔、メイク道具を置けるスペースがなくメイクメチャクチャしずらかった。部屋のデスクにはライトが無いし、バスルームのオレンジライトはメイクするには不向き、だから女性にはオススメしない。いつも東京駅近くのアパに泊まっていてそこが無くなってしまい今回新幹線に乗れる上野駅から近いこのドーミーインに宿泊したけれど、もう泊まらないかな。

朝食が美味しかった。

Cons:

防音がいまいちかなと思いました。
隣の部屋の話し声が聞こえたり、高速道路に面しているのでかなりうるさいと感じました。
エレベーターが1基しかないので、チェックアウトの時間帯に3回くらいやり過ごして時間がかかりました。

Great location. Loved the unseen. Small room, but we expected that.

What a perfect hotel in Ueno! No complaints!
Pros:

Perfect Hotel
I used to travel Tokyo many many times over 10 years. I should stay here earlier
The room is spacious compared to the size in Ueno (especially the single room for solo traveller)
Very nice hot spring with self laundry service, free of charge for washer and only JPY100 charged for 20 mins for dryer
the corner room offered me (Room 810) was so perfect with two windows and one of those can see the Skytree !!!
Excellent location where have no complaints, too convenient and the room is so quiet of which the soundproof is good even located in a crowded location in Ueno
No complaint and no defect can be found.
I decided to stay in this hotel every time when my next travel to Tokyo.

A welcoming hotel, very conveniently located, with a characteristic Japanese flavour
Pros:

I loved my stay at this hotel - it was a superb location to stroll around Ueno and the local atmospheric streets. In fact, we were very sad to leave. It is just a stone's throw from Ueno station and easy access to all of Tokyo's tourist hotspots... and if you have been too busy to grab food, they offer a delicious complimentary bowl of noodles in the evening. It is a very welcoming hotel with a unique Japanese flavour; they even have an onsen.

Cons:

The only problem I had was sleeping with a busy flyover close by. Additionally, there is only one lift with no stairs, which is small and often full.

Stayed here quite a few times and always stay here as my first choice due to the location
Pros:

The public bath is the flagship product of this hotel. If you're into that it is absolutely great. I never used the bath/shower in the room, always went to the 12th floor, sometimes three times in a day due to the heat and humidity. The coin laundry in the changing area is also a great convenience.

Cons:

The single elevator can get crowded at times but that is a function of the hotel having a small footprint and being a smaller property so I get that. Otherwise, the service, staff and facility is top-notch.

Pros:

Nice area location in Tokyo.

Cons:

The whole building only got one lift in which very busy running from 12/F to the front desk on 2/F. Also the people from 1/F to 2/F are using the same lift. I wonder the capacity of the lift comparing to the number of customers are not properly calculated.
