Good place to stay when you’re visiting your child at college
Pros:

The property was very neat and clean staff was very polite

Cons:

Unfortunately, the beds were way too soft felt like I was rolling in the middle of the bed. Need to get firmer mattresses. And if you can’t do that, have an option to request a firmer mattress in a different room, then for customers that have a Bed back to have that option

Good value & location, comfortable room.
Pros:

Location was convenient. There are multiple entrances to use once you have a key, which makes it easier for parking and not being too far from the room. The room itself was really spacious and comfortable. I didn’t get the chance to check out the pools or other amenities but they looked great.

Cons:

When I first checked in, the room key I was given opened the door to the correct room, but it was either occupied or not yet cleaned as the lights were on, bed was unmade, towels on the floor, etc. I went back to the front desk and was given a new room, no issues with that one, but I blocked my door at night because that made me a little wary of safety. The restaurant had a diner look to it, and when I was going to go, it was crowded with what looked like college students; I usually wouldn’t mind but I was hoping to just sit quietly at a bar so I skipped it. The bar itself was closed at the time.

Pros:

Convenient location, breakfast delivered to room, Friendly staff.

Cons:

Had 2 full size beds, would have preferred 1 queen or king. Bar/restaurant closes early on weekends- 10p.

If college (RIT) oriented a plus, not otherwise.
Pros:

Modern Well lighted. Wide accessible

Cons:

University RIT owned, Large, +300 room, institutional design, with inconsistent handicapped access, in a Henritta suburb, with large college residences during term, and temporary nearby hospital patient discharges. Probably too much for young adult market.

Impersonal, curt, uncooperative staff. “By the (hotel’s) book” reaction and approach.

Multiple annoying problems, bad room cards, faulty TV or room HVAC with wild swinging temperature control requiring “engineering”, often hard to locate in “big” facility. Peeling ceiling paint in drive overhead entrance.

More distant location than competing options.
