Hotel Mega Mare

A falta de gentileza, a rispidez e a deselegância das pessoas que tratam o check in e checkout.
Extremamente metódicos, para não dizer mal educados.

The view from the hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately that was the main positive part of my stay.

The location is extremely inconvenient if you do not have a car. There is essentially no regular public transport near the hotel, and walking from Meta station takes around 30–50 minutes, including a significant uphill section. More importantly, parts of the walk are genuinely dangerous: there is no pavement/sidewalk at all, so you have to walk directly along narrow roads with passing traffic. This is particularly unpleasant and unsafe at night. I really would not recommend walking between the station and the hotel after dark.

The room was very small and did not feel up to the standard I would expect from a three-star hotel. The cleanliness was also disappointing, especially as the towels had an unpleasant smell. Another major issue is that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms — it is only available in the common areas, which I found quite surprising.

Breakfast was poor in both quality and selection. The hotel also has far too many restrictive rules: food is not allowed in the rooms, the swimming pool and bar close very early, and even the outdoor/terrace areas have restrictions on when guests are allowed to use them.

The most frustrating experience happened on my last evening. The bar was supposed to close at 7 pm, but at around 6:45 pm they already refused to sell me any food. This was particularly strange because I had been able to buy food at approximately the same time the previous day. Given the isolated location of the hotel, this left me with very few alternatives for dinner.

Communication was also sometimes difficult, as English was quite limited among the staff.

Overall, the scenery is excellent, but the location, facilities, cleanliness, breakfast, restrictive rules and inconsistent service made the stay disappointing. I would only consider staying here if you have your own car.

Je nutné dodržovat striktní pravidla majitele.

migliorerei le indicazioni per cenare fuori dall'albergo che non sono state chiare da parte del personale in reception, mi è stato indicato in nome di un Pub (che ora non ricordo!) ma che non ho trovato nelle indicazioni in strada. In realtà rientrato in albergo mi è stato spiegato l'errore, ho poi deciso di mangiare in albergo un panino

Le manque d'empathie et une politesse plus que limite de la part du propriétaire ( on s'est fait évincer manu militari sur une demande d'arrivee anticipée avant 15h30)
Le petit déjeuner moyen avec des serveurs pas accueillants.

Unfortunately there is no proper restaurant and what they do serve is poor, so plan on eating out for lunch and dinner. You will need your own transport to do that as the nearest restaurants are 4+ km away and there is no taxi service.
It is a shame as in every other respect I would give the hotel 5 stars

atendimento

Das Personal ist stets bemüht, reichte aber nicht. Arrogant wird einem mitgeteilt, dass die Unterkunft schon weit im voraus ausgebucht ist. Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Hier herrschen REGEL die befolgt werden müssen. Pool Benutzung bis exakt 19.00h und erst nach dem check in möglich. REGELN. Frühstück ist eine katastrophale Erfahrung. Bläuliche Eier und kaum Auswahl. Obstsorten nur am Stück zum selber schneiden mit stumpfen Messern. Die nächste REGEL ist, das der Zimmer- und Safeschlüssel immer beim verlassen ( außer frühstücken) abgegeben werden muss. Es führt kein Weg an dem Thronstuhl der Rezeption vorbei. Gut das wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten. Wir können das ( HOTEL ) Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen.

Struttura che andrebbe modernizzata un po, servizi molto scadenti per un 3 stelle Sopratt se ti trovi in costiera sorrentina.
Colazione pessima, pochissima scelta dei prodotti con qualità bassa, la nutella solo se la chiedi te la danno ma contata ahahaha
Servizi da rivedere dalla colazione, al “bar”, alla piscina aperta solo poche ore senza capirne il motivo

L’accueil du patron lamentable

Keinen Shuttle zu Bahnhof oder Bus, es gibt sehr spezielle Vorgaben - wie dass die Poolbar um 19h schließt und man dann die Area verlassen muss, während erst eine dreiviertel Stunde später die Bar oben öffnet. Dort wird man gebeten, man möge auf sein Zimmer gehen, wenn man sich im Stehen zu dritt normal unterhält, es wäre eine "working area". Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt.
