Value for money?
Pros:

Nice hotel and staff very friendly.
Unfortunately everything in Iceland is extremely expensive.
We stayed in a few hotels around Iceland and I believe the Center Hotels are better value, albeit expensive but is the least expensive and better value than others.

Great spot to start exploring Iceland
Pros:

Very good location. Roo s were small but very clean and the beds were super comfortable

Cons:

We paid a lot of money for the room and it turned out the spa was not included so we could not use the hot tub. At this price that should be included.

Excelente estadia próxima a centro da cidade
Pros:

Ficamos em um dos quartos do último andar. Quarto muito amplo e confortável com uma vista bonita.
O café da manhã é muito bom e tem diversas opções.
Equipe muito gentil, tanto os que recepcionam para o café da manhã quanto os que atendem no balcão da frente.
Fácil de chegar caminhando no centro e próximo a um estabelecimento com diversos tipos de restaurantes bem ao lado do hotel.

Pros:

Just wanted to share this review of the spa service I received on May 14, at 8PM. My husband and I booked a massage for each of us as part of our wedding anniversary celebration. This was the last night of a nine-day vacation where we walked A LOT (about 70 miles) in the Netherlands. We were a little sore from all our fun and body weary from the flights. We were looking forward to our massages before flying home to the USA. My massuse's name was Mimsue(?) - I am sure I got the spelling wrong but she was wonderful! I told her about all our walking and that I carry constant tension in my shoulders and neck. Honestly, the tension was something that affected the way I live and work. I have had some bad auto accidents in the past ten years with careless/drunk drivers that caused damage. I had grown used to not being able to turn my head all the way to the right side, and hearing a popping or grinding sound in my neck when I did turn my head to the side. It is GONE!!! All of it! Mimsue gave me a massage that not only relieved it then, it is two months later and it is still great! I can move my head, neck, arms and shoulders without pain or popping/grinding! If I could hug her I would because her work quite literally has changed the quality of my day-to-day life. Not an exaggeration, just a very real and honest review of her work. Oh yeah, and my husband liked his as well. ;) Thank you for a wonderful hotel experience. Jorgenson's was kiss-the-chef perfection, and the entire staff were all a pleasure from the restaurant to the front desk. We will be back!

Perfect location.
Pros:

Excellent hotel, perfect location to visit Reykjavik (on foot), prior or just after your cruise ! Good breakfast, also early breakfast when you have an early flight. Nice, modern rooms.
