Reception staff was excellent, air-conditioning was excellent, food was good with excellent room service.

Cons:

Bathroom was very congested, just 1 towel was available, there were no bathroom slippers, no foot mat outside wash room.

Pros:

Everything was well set up and lived the view from my room and the restaurant

They seemed to be a bit overwhelmed when I arrived so had to wait for my room to be ready

Nothing grand here
Pros:

Probably once a grand hotel, it has since slid into neglect. Owners do not even have art along the public areas, wide corridors or rooms. The bathroom mirror was pitted, overdue for replacement. The bathtub faucet had come apart from the wall, doors had not been varnished, probaby since installation.
Dinner took an hour to arrive, after reminders.
The only saving grace, if there's any, is that housekeeping does a good job in spite of management's neglect.
