The location is excellent. You can’t beat it if you are spending multiple days at the parks.
Perfect if you have small children, want to take a break, or eat your own food.
You are definitely paying for the convenience of this hotel. For the price I would expect a little more attention to detail. We needed extra linen for the sofa bed, my husband called twice and went to the counter twice before he actually had linen in his hands. This was over about 3 hours so he wasn’t being inpatient.
Everything was good besides bugs in the balcony. Could not get out. But overall it's a good hotel for a park.
Everything was good.
The proximity to the park and lake are unbeatable.
The cleaning staff could've done a better job when attending to our room. There were dead fish washed up along shore which wasn't very appealing.
Great
Nothing
Proximity to the amusement park and Lake.
1. The lack of noise proof windows from loud music pumping all day for the Park 2. Lack of cleanliness of bathrooms (sink wouldn’t drain, hair and dirt on the wall, empty soap dispenser) 3. Lack of quality places to eat 4. Lack of coffee in rooms (you are forced to get coffee from Starbucks whose lines in the morning are prohibitive) 5. Filthy elevators and public places 6. Expense of rooms (we paid extra for a balcony view which ended up being of the water slide pump station).
I liked my stay last year during the same time of year. Many of the problems I had weren’t an issue last year. The location and views are the best part about Hotel Breakers.
The main problem was that when I went to check in, there was a giant school group of teenagers. There must have been hundreds of kids waiting for each elevator. It was so bad that I couldn’t use the stairs or elevator because they were all blocked by teenagers. I had to go outside and sit down until they cleared out 30 minutes later. It was a poor way to handle things on the school’s behalf, and on Hotel Breakers behalf. Additionally, the refrigerator in my room was making a buzzing sound. And it made it difficult to sleep.
It was convenient to the park, beaches and pool. Everything was within walking distance.
Convenience to the parks and early access
Everything overpriced. To me, the vibe felt like “we have you trapped on this peninsula, so we can charge you whatever we want and provide mediocre service in return.”
The staff the ability to walk around
Fire drill the pool attendant was rude getting out of the pool. Could have been cheaper but enjoyed the stay.
Proximity to the entrance and early entry to the park. View of the lake was great.
Lack of coffee machine in the room. Honestly, super small reason to complain, but I guess if I stay again, I’m bring my coffee machine. I despise Starbucks, and that was the only option.
Close proximity & early entry to the park. Beautiful setting facing the water.
48 minute wait time to check in! No coffee machines in the room. There are screens on all the veranda room porches to keep the bugs out, so you don’t have a clear view of Lake Erie. Only restaurant options are TGI Fridays or Perkins or a hibachi grill. I would advise ordering food to be delivered. We bought two cartons of milk and one beer in the gift shop and the total was $24! Next time I would stay at the Holiday Inn for half the price which includes a free breakfast.
Property was beautiful. Close to the park. Lake view was awesome
Screens on balcony, understand it just not pretty
Great location
Perkins had very slow service. Check in very slow only 2 people at desk, 1 was in training
Direct access to the beach.
The main gate access.
The location to cederpoint
They didn't replace towels or trash when they were cleaning other rooms near by.
Location to the park
Beds aren’t comfortable. Very pricey
