Enjoyable visit - we were there for the cricket and hopefully will get the chance to return.
Pros:

Lovely meals, both breakfast and evening. Excellent quality and value for money. The hotel did everything they could to mitigate the extreme heat. Good selection of well kept draught beers. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Comfortable beds.

Excellent, great staff , great hotel.
Pros:

The staff were excellent, especially Liam who kindly gave every assistance they could in the recent heatwave. Nothing was too much to ask for. A great place in a lovely town, so convenient for the cricket at Trent Bridge.

Would definitely stay again. Fab location, friendly staff.
Pros:

Greeted with a smile, room spotless. Bed comfortable. Breakfast options good, mega plus allowed me to bring my dog into dining area, so no stress from either of us. Only rule under table and not on furniture, totally reasonable request. Violetta on reception fab, considering I managed to lock myself out within the first 5min of arriving. Trying to get bags, dog, dog bed inside, but door closing with key inside room was not in the plan. Just a smile and had me sorted within min. Didn’t try restaurant this time, but hopefully next time.

Pros:

Fantastic breakfast and bed was really comfortable

Cons:

Noisy but that’s because it was hot so I needed the windows open and a Saturday night so closing time was a bit noisy- not anything the hotel could do about though

Lovely, cosy hotel
Pros:

Staff were all friendly and attentive. The room was lovely and clean, a fan was also provided which was gratefully used in the hot weather. The bed was very comfy an the breakfast was delicious.

All round a lovely hotel to stop and stay with family/friends for a weekend.
Pros:

Breakfast was very well presented - a good variety and selection of all types of breakfast, they were very happy to accommodate fussy eaters too :)
Room - it was extremely hot weather when we visited, and being on the top floor the ventilation was poor. We had two fans in the room, and it still wasn't enough so I had to keep the door ajar to get a breeze through - it's not to do with the room, just the weather!
The restaurant was absolutely lovely! the food was amazing, would love to go back for those delicious "drunken prawns!"
Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The EV charger was available when I needed it.
Also there is a gorgeous little lounge which was perfect for relaxing in the evening.

Cons:

The cleanliness in the room could have been better. In the hidden areas, eg behind the blinds, and skirtings etc, was dusty and cobwebs, a few bugs and at least one spider... could do with a deep clean. The maintenance is old but functional, could do with a modernised bathroom. Nothing major that interfered with our stay or comfort level.
