Ended our Franciscan pilgrimage at Il Cantico in Rome
Pros:

This hotel is owned by Franciscans and within easy walking distance of St. Peter's. Room was clean, comfortable. We had a lovely outdoor private balcony. The breakfast buffet was plenty. There were still and fizzy water dispensing stations in the hallways. They kept our luggage so we could catch an early tour of the Vatican Museum.

Rome - always a special place in my heart.
Pros:

Staff - lovely!
Breakfast - simple but okay!
Location - not so bad. Would be great during summer months!
I really liked the convenience of a water fountain just outside the room to refill the bottles!
CHapel in the top floor - now that's a 10 for me!!

Clean, centrally situated and reasonably priced stay
Pros:

Very clean, Very central. Good Airconditioning. Unobtrucive staff. Nice terrazzo overlooking St Peters Basilica. Plenty of bars and restaurants around.

Cons:

Two more pillows; Kettle and coffee making facilities; small table and chair
