The Beach House Boutique Hotel

This is our second year in a row and this trip was as amazing as the first.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were back home.

Our son dove daily with Sun Divers which is located next door.

My husband and I enjoyed walking to nearby shops and cafes, dining at delicious local nearby restaurants and just relaxing on the beach and on our balcony.

Room 6 was perfect in terms of the size and layout.

A highlight is always the onsite restaurant which has amazing food and service.

There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible our stay at The Beach House Hotel was!

From our very first inquiry, Raquel Carbajal was wonderfully helpful with our booking, making sure every detail was taken care of. The location in West End is simply divine—the beach is literally steps away (just a minute walk!), and the view from the room was unbelievable. Everything was spotless and impecably clean throughout our stay.

It's worth noting that the hotel doesn't have a pool, but honestly, you don't need one! You come to Roatán to immerse yourself in the crystal-clear ocean water, not a pool.

The customer service is a true 20/20. The entire staff went above and beyond, giving us the absolute best recommendations on where to go and where to eat. A special shoutout to the restaurant: just incredible! Every single dish, every bite, and every drink exceeded our expectations.

We are already counting down the days until we return. This has officially become our go-to spot, and we can’t wait to make this trip an annual family tradition. 100% recommended!

My partner and I visited in June. It was the first time visiting Roatan. We set up an airport pickup through the BH and the driver was there awaiting our arrival. The hotel location was perfect for us. It’s literally right on the water. We had a long travel day and we went to our room to change. Our room on the top floor had an amazing view! Balcony was ideal in the morning and for catching the sunset if you wish. Room itself was spacious and linens were soft.
We went to the second floor restaurant where we met Jasper. He was excellent! Spent time chatting with us. Gave us recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The entire staff Harrison, Abel, Britney, Andromeda and Denny we the best! They even brought us drinks on the beach! We would highly recommend this place for the views, staff, food and location.

Great hotel for our first visit to Roatan. My family really enjoyed this small boutique hotel in the West End. The location was perfect - 20 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes to West Bay and plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel. It was nice to be away from all the craziness of the cruise ships.

Rooms are renovated, spacious and comfortable. The beds are relaxing, AC worked great and views are all ocean view with a small private beach outside. The entire staff made us all feel welcome - thanks to Raquel, Harry, Jasper and everyone else who took care of all our needs. The restaurant Mila has great food options but you should also try many of the local options on the strip.

There is a small deck outside the hotel where you can jump off in the crystal waters. If adventurous, there is also a small ship that you can swim to for swinging, snorkeling and diving. A big thanks for the movie night for kiddos complete with popcorn and candy.

We look forward to coming back soon. The sand fleas are legit - bring repellent!

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to spend our 56th wedding anniversary at the Beach House in Half Moon Bay on Roatan. We have previously stayed in many hotels all over the world, and the combination of this wonderful location on this great beach with proximity to the West End and West Bay, just could not be beat.

The Beach House only has 14 rooms, which is nice. We stayed in Room 12, which is on the third floor. It included a king-size bed, a pullout couch, a mini-fridge and counter space for preparing food, a mini-split air conditioner, and an excellently appointed bathroom. A gallon of bottled water was provided in our room every day and that was much appreciated. The balcony provided great views and the pitched roof – wood on the inside and metal on the outside, provided a cacophony of sound whenever there was an evening rainstorm.

Looking out from our balcony every morning and seeing this incredible bay, with divers and snorkelers going out for their trips, and kids clamoring atop a “pirate ship” that is anchored in the bay and serves as a swinging platform so that they could jump into the water, continually brought smiles to our faces.

The beach in front of the hotel is raked every morning and provides lounge chairs and umbrellas as well as a long private dock into the bay. It is very easy to walk-in and snorkel out in the bay. It was also convenient to get a water taxi which took us to West Bay for even better snorkeling. The Beach House is part of the West End town and thus there are lots of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and souvenir shops right along the beach. We really appreciated that there was no sargassum fouling up the beach like many other places in the Caribbean.

The staff, Kathy, Paola, and Raquel absolutely understand what customer service means. They were warm, friendly, outgoing, and bent over backwards to ensure that we had a great time. This included securing a red rose (in this tropical location) for the aforementioned anniversary, and had the housekeeping staff set up a special surprise for us on our bed.

At the risk of encouraging more people to come to this hotel, and thus possibly limiting our access, I have to say that we are already preparing our reservation for our next trip to the Beach House – what a place!

We loved our time at The Beach House. The location downtown is amazing, right on a very clean stretch of beach and just steps from Sun Divers shop.
The rooms were spotless, and I loved that they delivered fresh 1-gallon jugs of clean drinking water to our room daily—such a thoughtful touch. Every single staff member we encountered was always available, smiling, and incredibly helpful.
The restaurant was another major highlight. The coffee was amazing, and you absolutely have to try the Tipico breakfast! Great food and top-tier service all around. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this little hotel! The location was great… restaurants and shops just steps away from the hotel. The beach was right off the porch and the water calm and warm.
The service was very good. Our room was kept clean and stocked. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful.
The restaurant was fantastic. It was wonderful eating while looking out at the bay.
The restaurant was right next to where the water taxi stand is located. $5 will get you a 10 minute ride to West Bay beach.

I will say that I would not choose Room 13 again simply because of the noise coming from Sundowners next door. I would choose a room in the middle of the hotel instead of the end.
If we go back to Roatan I would love to stay at The Beach House again.

What a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in a beautiful setting right on the beach in the bay. Despite being in a lively area, noise was never an issue, we slept peacefully every night.

A special thank you to the entire team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The level of service was exceptional, and it was clear that they genuinely care about making every guest’s stay memorable. They consistently went above and beyond, and their hospitality made all the difference.

The location couldn’t have been better. We spent our days diving with Sun Divers, fishing, snorkeling, exploring the island, and relaxing on the beach before returning each evening to enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. Having Sundowners right next door was the perfect way to end the day with great drinks, music and some of the best sunset views on the island.

One thing we especially appreciated was the team’s local knowledge. Every recommendation they gave us, whether it was a restaurant, a fishing charter, or arranging a rental car, was spot on and helped make our vacation even more enjoyable. It really felt like they wanted us to experience the very best of Roatán.

Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We had an amazing week and will absolutely be back. If you’re looking for the perfect place to experience Roatán, this hotel is an easy recommendation.

Wonderful setting, comfortable room, convenient location for scuba diving, snorkeling, beach, and friendly staff.

We spent 7 nites at the Beach House earlier this month. It continues to be on the top of our list (this was our 3rd visit; having been here previously in 2024 & 2025). It is a great location with many shops & restaurants in walking distance & a dive company right next. The entire staff is great; always a smile & always helpful, no matter your needs. Mila del Mar (upstairs) is one of the best restaurants in the area with it view of the beach. It was especially nice this year as we made friends with other guests staying in neighboring suites. Whether enjoying your book on your patio, snorkeling off the dock or just relaxing on the beach, The Beach House is the place for us.

We weren’t sure what to expect as this was our first time in Roatan and being there in summer.

It exceeded every expectation we had. The hotel was staffed by attentive, friendly and nice staff! The beach was great! Activities planning thru the hotel was awesome!

If you’re there over a weekend, grab a cold beverage and sit on the balcony and listen to the live music from Sun Downers and enjoy the stunning view!

We will 100% be back!

The location of The Beach House is great. There are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The Atmosphere is very very welcoming. All the workers are very outgoing, polite, and constantly trying to serve your needs quickly and effectively. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day, and towels were replaced. We never had to go ask for anything. The noise level was not too loud, usually music was playing but it was vibey. There are many amenities here at The Beach House. There is a restaurant and bar with amazing food and drinks. There is full access to the beach, flippers and snorkeling gear is available for free. There is a dive shop right next to The Beach House also. There is also a boat with a rope swing that you can swim out to which is very fun. The value you get when you stay here definitely outweighs the price. I would highly recommend this place to anybody. My family and I have made lifelong memories throughout our stay here.

Our stay at the Beach House Hotel at West End Roatán was for a friend's event wedding. The staff were incredible. The were very attentive and helpful without smothering us. The location is gorgeous, with unbelievable sunsets over the water. Drinks at the bar were well mixed and not watered down. Sun Divers scuba shop next door is highly recommended for a safe but fun reef dive or snorkeling experience. Wahoo Slayers charter fishing is recommended as well. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was amazing, the hotel location is so convenient, the rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and beautiful, the food and cocktails were excellent and the staff is kind and helpful (gave us amazing recs for places to eat). Overall a great stay, will go back for sure!!
