As a last minute decision to have a night away from home it proved to be a good decision.
Pros:

The location was great and having parking was great.
The reception staff were nice and it was really refreshing to have staff at breakfast who were chatty and friendly. She showed interest in our stay.

Cons:

Dogs in the dining room at breakfast…..especially as it was very yappy!

Pros:

The hotel was excellent value, it was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. Reception staff were great, really helpful and we received a warm welcome.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming there was a lovely lady I think her name was Katie and she was lovely and a credit to your company

Cons:

Not very wheelchair friendly and none of the staff offered to hold doors or anything so we could get to the lift

Pros:

The interior of the hotel is a bit dated in places, but the rooms were nice and clean.
We got a good deal on the price through booking.com for the two nights we were there.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
It's about 20 min walking distance to the city centre, but that was ok for us.

Cons:

Fridge in the room would be nice, but not a big deal.

Pros:

A decent place to stay and an easy walk to and from the rail station.

Cons:

Due to the weather, the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The hotel could have took an easy step to mitigate this by closing curtains and windows to keep at bay the strong sunny weather.
