Friendly and competent staff, food was good and room clean

Posizione eccellente per esplorare Edimburgo, Glasgow, e Stirling, oltre alla zona di Loch Lomond e il parco di Trossachs (distano tutti in auto non più di un'ora di strada).
Camera pulita e confortevole, silenziosa e tranquilla.
Lo staff è gentile e cortese e fornisce ottimi consigli su come muoversi nella zona.
Il ristorante prepara delle ottime pietanze, come lo Steak pie tradizionale, o il salmone grigliato, o la beacon steak in salsa agrodolce.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating, rooms are very clean and comfortable.

We stayed here while we went to the Edinburgh Castle Military Tattoo. Lovely hotel staff. Very helpful with local knowledge of sustainable transport links. The lady who checked us in made sure her team knew we were very late arrivals and very early departures. Seamless service and communication.

Me & My Girlfriend, My Mate & His Girlfriend stayed at the Hotel Saturday night / Sunday morning (1st / 2nd August) .
We arrived late as we had not long landed at Edinburgh Airport after a Holiday in Turkey .
As soon as we checked in Maria on reception and Jason (sorry if names are wrong ) couldn’t have been more welcoming.
We were peckish and asked if there was a vending machine. Maria walked off and came back with four pies and said “I hope these help” .
Then when I went back down to reception to ask for more biscuits, Jason found me some and some bags of crisps too .
The breakfasts were made to order and not the usual stodgy stuff piled up in trays . And once again all the staff were friendly & polite .
I work up and down the country and have stayed in plenty of different hotels , this hotel restored some faith in the hospitality sector .
Staff were a credit to the owner .
P.s we found the rooms clean & tidy and the beds comfy too !!

Bed very comfy

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished – and it was nice to have a bath to soak in (with so many hotels these days just having showers). The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, and the freshly cooked-to-order Full Scottish Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were amazing. We had our mothers 90th birthday there and used the hotel as our base. The staff very well organised and couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definately stay there again .

friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room although one of the curtains was hanging off. Food amazing! and the price was as stated, just right for me :)
