Aloha On The Ganges, Rishikesh

Clean roof, very friendly staff, excellent food and the beautiful view of river Ganga

Most of the staff (with the exception of few) have very bad attitude and the hygiene of their restaurants is extremely poor. I do not recommend this hotel.

Staff wasn’t too friendly rest was good

The property is located at a serene location near Ganges. You can go for a quiet walk and sit near the beach to enjoy calmness.

The staff at the property were very hospitable - Maybe due to rush or peak tourist season - we were kind of not treated that great at time of check in. We had to drop our cab at a distant location owing to traffic and no cab was arranged by the Aloha property. Also, no water was served - and we had to ask them twice to get some water since we were very thirsty.
Also, out of 2 lifts, only 1 was functional adding to wait times with elders and kids.
Again this might be due to peak rush this month and might improve..

Just Awesome

Overrated property. The hotel is a 2-3-star hotel but pretends to be a 5-star hotel. The food is average in the hotel restaurant, and walking to any other restaurant in the area requires trekking up the street, which is highly congested with traffic without designated footpaths for walkers.

Beautiful views and very welcoming staff. Hotel Manager (Praveen Semwal) was welcoming, humble and provided good recommendations on local events. The food was well prepped and served (for both in room dining and the waterfront restaurant). I also loved the spa service.

Areas to improve: bathrooms had a constant odor of sewer. Just putting a scented candle or room freshener would help.

The resort is beautiful and the view of the Ganga was amazing but the road to reach Aloha was horrible. They should fix it.

Right on the Ganges with amazing views of the river and able to down and touch the waters.
Rooms are 3-4 star nice. Great spa. Great area and shopping up a hill.

Bathroom had leaking issues and furniture is dated.

I was visiting with my parents from US to show them Haridwar and Rishikesh. From the property pic shown on Expedia we planned to stay at Aloha and paid

Room what pics showed and what we offered were completely different. It didnt even have basic level of sanitation and hotel property was more like some old government flat. Paint was coming out, it was dirty :( I wanted to give my parents some wonderful experience, but resulted in this disappointment.

I paid $760 for 3 nights, which is pretty good price for India. When I went to management, they refused to provide me refund. Only option of similar room i was given was again with same broken walls or smaller room. They have better room in this property but they asked us to pay more.

I chose to checkout the same day rather than stay in those condition. Please avoid this property, there are many good value options available.

I feel cheated :(

The Hotel is well located and has good facilities and service is excellent but rooms are really bad and absolutely not up to the mark as per the cost charged.
