accommodation in the Egdbaston Campus
Pros:

The accommodation is localized in a nice area of the Egdbaston Campus. Communication with the hotel and breakfasts were fine. I have solely one comment, it was not possible to open (or solely very slightly) the windows. There is no air-condition, but the hotel equipped the room with an electric fan.

Pros:

Helpful staff at breakfast and limited vegan options were offered though porridge took a while to prepare. Location is good for Birmingham uniersity campus

Cons:

The bed was not very comfortable with a mattress that one could feel springs and was not very supportive. Rooms very small and shower tiny with tap difficult to operate. Very poor value for money and should have been about 50 pounds less if this level of accommodation is offered.

Clean and convenient stay at the university
Pros:

It was a good location for the university, 15 minute walk to the train so you can get into the city if you like. It was clean and the beds were made every day. I didn’t see any staff but the people in the main hotel were really helpful and friendly. It was cleaner than I expected after reading the reviews, and it was so lovely and quiet.

Cons:

I could hear the neighbour rooms talking sometimes and the shower and the flushing of toilets :( some people woke up really early to shower and that woke me up

Great value and location
Pros:

Excellent value for money, great breakfast at Edgbaston Park Hotel, good size room with lots of study space and a comfy bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for University of Birmingham, in a good, leafy suburb where I felt very safe. Free car parking.

Cons:

The shower room is dated with some wear to the enamel on the shower tray and the shower pressure was hit and miss. But come on, this is a budget priced hotel in a lovely area and is immaculately kept.
