Lovely, homely location for a family vacation.
Pros:

Great, historic, location. Lovely room and lovely staff. The overall vibe of Summercamp is friendly, relaxed and welcoming.

The room was clean, well appointed and a home from home.

Excellent location, overworked ‘summer camp’ theme …
Pros:

The location and view from the porch were excellent. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

The summer camp theme seems to have been taken a little too far where adhering to the theme has taken precedent over comfort. We booked a double/twin room and were given a bunk bed! For a couple in their 60s, the supposed ‘let’s be kids again’ fun theme started to wear a little thin. With such a fabulous location and great team of people working there, it could be so much more…

Great reception and overall experience!
Pros:

Beautiful view and easy location to everything. Exceptional welcome with details on where to go, what to eat, what to see, above and beyond anywhere we stayed. Appreciated the creative activities and lounging area. Especially the lockers that we could use after checkout to store our things for the day.
