Pros:

Got upgraded when arrived which was nice, bed was comfy but the rooms don’t have air con and the supplied fans shuffle warm around which made sleeping difficult. Shower was good although thermostatic valve was a little temperamental. Location was fine for Oxford tourism sites

Pros:

The location is excellent. Lovely, spacious room which was scrupulously clean. The lady who checked us in (I think her name was Elena) was extremely welcoming and thoughtful. I've stayed here before and both times I had a very good experience.

Cons:

It's expensive, but you're paying for the location so mustn't grumble.

Very disappointed. I feel that I have been cheated.

The convenience of the location.

Cons:

Nothing was as advertised. Room was minuscule, dirty, dark, and in desperate need of a good paint. Furniture (side table broken). Small window with an internal view on courtyard with garbage. Bathroom not clean, hair, shower dirty.
No elevator, small stairs to carry two suitcases to top floor. Common areas in good need of a refresh. Poor breakfast. And renovation work on neighbor building.

Poor value for money
Pros:

The location is amazing. The bed is comfortable.

Cons:

The value for money is way off. The facilities are limited and everything feels like it's due an update. The superior double room was basically the same as a normal double room, if not worse. The shower was in the room itself, separated by a cheap shower curtain, and right next to the entrance door. The carpet smelled and is very old. For the price you'd expect a little bit of luxury, but everything was basic and cheap.
