It met all of our needs! Close to the airport, restaurant, and easy to find. Very accommodating and attentive staff. Great location

Cons:

We stayed 2 nights, 1 night at each end of our visit and I can honestly say there was nothing I didn’t like!

Recommended for a comfortable stay short distance from Whangarei town basin.
Pros:

Comfortable and convenient for a two-night stay. Large room with tea, coffee, milk in fridge. Super attentive and patient staff. Wonderful view from balcony. Being not in the city center, it was great that a varied dinner was offered. Interesting photos as decor in main areas.

Cons:

A little old (or “retro” to put it positively) e.g., shower-bath combined, carpets in main areas showing understandable wear and tear, general style.

Quite adequate for a one night stay.
Pros:

Good location out of the town centre. Restaurant all very modern. Nice views from expansive windows.

Cons:

Rooms a bit dated for the price we paid.

Absolutely fabulous management and staff
Pros:

The property was really clean and comfortable. We stay in quite a few hotels and although this property is an older one it has been upgraded to an excellent standard.

Comfortable and clean.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a bigger room with a kitchen, as the restaurant was closed and that was the reason that we had booked this accommodation. We had nowhere to prepare food in the room that we had booked, so Raywyn moved us to a room with full cooking facilities, where we could prepare our own food.

Cons:

The walk-in shower had a problem with water splashing everywhere all over the floor outside of the shower cubicle.
