We had a great stay
Pros:

Clean and close to the beach. We brought our dog with us and they provided a dog bed, blanket, water bowl, and treats. The staff was great.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

This is a lovely, well laid out property with plenty of amenities and comfort. Great breakfast. Awesome staff.
Pros:

The front desk/lobby provided nice touches, such as fresh baked cookies, local salt taffy, coffee, tea and water, and beach accessories (beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels). Our room was quiet and we found the bed comfortable. There was a large buffet style breakfast. I appreciated the oatmeal cooked from scratch each morning in a big crockpot.
The drive to the commercial part of town was quick, but parking down there during summer peak periods is difficult to find. An increase in transportation options in and out of this area would be nice.

Cons:

That it was too far from the restaurants and shops for us to walk there and parking in that commercial area was difficult during peak times. This is not a reflection of on the Inn. Just a consideration when booking.

Disappointed with the contrast between this stay and earlier stays. Business owners must be cheap!
Pros:

We've stayed here many times over many years so we had a general idea of the lodging. It's availability was the primary reason we picked this.

Cons:

As I said earlier, we've stayed here over many years (perhaps when they were new). I think they haven't updated their bedding linens since the first use. They stank.

A truly magical place to rest and recharge, located minutes from the beach
Pros:

The location of this Inn is amazing, just 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and packed with absolutely everything you would need, including jacuzzi bath. The place itself is beautifully landscaped, very quite and relaxing. Also I appreciated complimentary candies and ice cream with root beer.

Cons:

Continental breakfast is better than nothing but honestly is not great. I would rather have an option to pay extra for a better breakfast.

my room cleanliness and staff were all amazing

Cons:

I hated the breakfast where they served biscuits and gravy and not really cooked well potatoes. They never served eggs and potatoes on the same day and the eggs were powder eggs not fresh. for $400 plus per night there should be real and fresh eggs every single day, NOT POWDERED eggs, ick! There should also be a morning where the eggs are sunny side up and or poached eggs with a Benedict. The fresh fruit was always good and there should be plates not paper plates, it's over $400.00 per night, I shouldn't have to have breakfast on a paper plate ever! Also the dog wash water was cold! It should have been warm with a place to hang my towels

Perfect stay and will definitely return.
Pros:

Very clean property. The grounds were spectacular. Our kids loved watching the rabbits run around the property.

Great location to the beach and surrounding restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was also great! And the welcome cookies that we were offered everyday was a lovely touch.

We had a shower that didn’t work and were all sandy from beach and couldn’t shower. We contacted front office and they sent someone but took two trips and about two hours and was close to 11 pm at night before we could shower and go to bed after being up since 4 am and driving 8!hours that day to get to the beach. It was a nightmare. Repair person couldn’t communicate to even let us know what was going on and he was in our on/bathroom for a long time.
