Quiet and convenient place to stay in the area!
Pros:

A clean, quiet room in a great location, minutes away from restaurants, bars, and shops on King Street and the King Street metro station. As someone who is sensitive to noise, I appreciated that the room doors do not slam shut and that I could not hear A/C cycling on and off. We also received friendly, responsive and helpful service from the front desk staff when inquiring about a lost item (shout out to Jerry!).
We had a car, but we were able to find street parking Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, so we did not need to use their valet parking service.

Secret Rooftop Bar is the BEST
Pros:

My family and I had the best time at this Hilton Garden Inn on the 4th of July. The hotel hosted a rooftop celebration for America 250 with a view of the Freedom 250 Fireworks. Everything was wonderful- remodeled, very clean. Nice bathrooms. Thank you to TJ for telling us about the event at his hotel and thank you to Harry, Louise, Laura and the whole crew for making the night memorable.
This hotel is so nice, we plan to come back and do a “staycaction” in Old Town at this Hilton Garden Inn in the near future.

Not great!
Pros:

Service is definitely missing in this place. Phones do not work in the room, staff do not answer the front desk phone. Have to call to have room cleaned. Certainly not the level of service one would expect with the name. No room to load and unload in front.

Overall experience is great. I will come back to this hotel next time I visit Virginia
Pros:

Spacious reception area with food/snacks available for emergency. Rooms give ample space as well.

Cons:

Small portion of ala carte breakfast though staff (old but very good guy) was very accommodating and explains all options available.

Wi-Fi during our stay is intermittent. Does not connect automatically when you go back to to the hotel.

I loved the staff and the location. But you are overpriced for what you offer by way of amenities.
Pros:

Location is great. Your staff are all really wonderful.

Cons:

Not enough water pressure for the shower. The breakfast is not great given what we have to pay for it.

I didn’t end up staying at this hotel. They put me into another hotel and it was very inconvenient.
Pros:

They canceled my reservation after we arrived. Due to somebody being sick and vomiting all over our room.

Cons:

I didn’t like that they canceled my appointment and sent me to another hotel when I was on a time constraint and needed to get to a hotel room

Very nice quiet night
Pros:

I stayed here on February 11th, just to have an easy access to the Metro so I could see Nine Inch Nails at Capitol One Arena. It was a very easy walk from the hotel to the metro. I got here super early and I didn't think the hotel would sell out the night before, so I had to wait a while for a room. The room was very nice, quiet and spacious.

Pros:

Accommodations were very comfortable. Cost for valet parking was steep for one night. Everyone was super kind, the bar was closed for the night which we don’t get away much so a small disappointment there. Very kind staff.

This place was not a hi end hotel

No Heat No Integrity
Pros:

When we arrived they did not have any heat in the rooms! It was a cold night and I told them in the morning that thermostat wasn’t working properly. They said they knew that the heat wasn’t working in any of the rooms and offered us a space heater. It would have been nice to know when or before we checked in. Management lacks integrity at this location. BUYER BEWARE!!
