I book the room because I thought it was exactly like the photo they shared—or at least something just as decent.
I traveled a very long way to meet my boyfriend. Four hours before | arrived at the hotel, my partner had simply placed some flowers in the room and gone back to his own home; when I got there and saw the room, l was in shock. It was truly so bad—I can't even describe it.
And my boyfriend made a mistake and left his passport there.
Anyway, I was shocked when I saw the room. It was a huge disappointment. I had wanted to spend a few nice, comfortable days there with my boyfriend. It was supposed to be a place with a spacious area, a sofa, and a beautiful view-but in reality, nothing lived up to the description. It honestly feels like a total scam.
I was truly disappointed and wanted to leave. She refused to hand over my boyfriend's passport. She insisted on charging for a full day's stay, even though my boyfriend had only placed flowers in the room just four hours earlier-nothing else had been done. There were other vacant rooms available; the place wasn't even fully booked. It wasn't as if the room was being held back from other guests because of us. Anyway, the woman flat-out refused to return the passport unless I paid. It was a really unpleasant situation. I didn't like it at all, but I ended up having to make the payment just to get my boyfriend's passport back.

Reasonable view
Lift did not work for many days. Listed as beachfront? 500 metres to beach? Air conditioner barely worked. Room serviced once in 10 days. Photos of property need to be updated. Quite noisy from traffic on road and footpath bikeway is dangerous. Disappointing. We left two days early after prepaying at check in. Could not be bothered trying to get any refund.

The staff is a family run business with cute cats. The price was fair for the area. Rooms were cleaned well, the air conditioning, smart TV, and wifi works well. The staff speak English pretty well too. They were kind, made check in easy, even allowed me to check in much earlier than their 2pm check-in. I had a few small requests during my stay, they were happy to help me with fresh towels, switching rooms. The owner even offered me some of his thouc lao :)
No complaints at all.
