It didn’t deliver on the 4* rating, plug fitting not sitting in walls, not topped up soap, weird room layout. It misses the things you expect in a 4*, shower caps etc. the upgrade to the mezzanine floor bed wasn’t ideal, steep stairs not well lit.

L’hôtel est effectivement situé face à la mer, comme indiqué dans la description, mais il est important de préciser qu’il n’offre aucune vue sur la caldeira — un détail qui nous a profondément déçus, car c’était notre critère principal de réservation. Nous avions choisi cet établissement en pensant profiter de ce panorama emblématique, et cette omission dans la description nous a semblé trompeuse. En outre, la salle de gym n'était pas disponible et le spa non plus.
Par ailleurs, notre chambre, en partie troglodyte, présentait une humidité marquée en ce début de saison, ce qui a rendu notre séjour inconfortable dès notre arrivée. Nous avons finalement décidé de ne pas y dormir et avons trouvé, à seulement 700 mètres de là, une suite exceptionnelle : vue imprenable sur la caldeira, balcon avec jacuzzi, et un tarif plus avantageux. Une expérience bien plus à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Nous ne demandons aucun remboursement, car nous reconnaissons ne pas avoir suffisamment vérifié ces détails avant de réserver. Cependant, nous tenions à partager cette expérience pour éviter à d’autres voyageurs une pareille déception. Malgré ce contretemps, nos vacances ont été sauvées — et c’est l’essentiel !

Pros:

Un petit coin de paradis, isolé de la foule touristique, avec une vue magnifique qui apporte une impression de grand calme. Tout était parfait : l'emplacement, à mi-chemin entre Fira et Oia, l'accueil très chaleureux, la décoration de la chambre, le confort du lit, le bain à remous, le petit déjeuner, le personnel. Nous avions loué un scooter, ce qui est bien pratique pour visiter l'île.
