Check-in on Sundays must take place before 18.00.

The pub is open from 11:00 until 23:00 Monday to Saturday and until 21:00 on Sunday.

The reception and bar are unoccupied. However, the property have a night porter service on call throughout this period to respond swiftly to any emergencies. All details of this are in the Guest Information Pack in each room.

Please note, the property do not have a elevator in the building and there are 2 or 3 flights of stairs to climb. However, staff are always available to help carry bags.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Fantastic: lovely touches that made it special
Pros:

A friendly welcome plus drink; room size and facilities including extensive range of toiletries and complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, crops & biscuits (Rm7).

Cons:

The air con was broken in our room during a very hot weekend. We were forewarned and the staff gave us a fan. There was nothing more they could do as the engineer came and was unable to fix it quickly. It was warm in the room, but we were well looked after.

Very pleasant but pricey
Pros:

Spacious room, pleasantly cool and quiet in a heatwave, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, good location for where we wanted to be.

Cons:

Really quite expensive for a pub room.

Overall the Clerk & Well is an exceptional place to stay in London. Highly recommended. Will return.
Pros:

Room was perfect, very roomy and exceptionally clean. Little touches like water in fridge and snacks for guests. Beds were very comfortable. Room is air conditioned if required. Provided welcome drink for guests and discount for eating in restaurant.

Cons:

There wasn't anything to not like about the Clerk and Well pub and rooms. Guests should note that stairs to the rooms are steep but was helped with case by a kind member of staff.
