It was an average hotel that served a purpose. Definitely over priced compared to other places.
Pros:

Staff was great.

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was average, but the bacon and sausage was overcooked every day we were there. There were bugs in our room and the floors were not clean.

location to cooperstown was good

Cons:

Hotel was barebones and for the cost, wasn't worth it. Don't care for all the pump bottles of soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner. NO body lotion. No safe provided in the room, we never had staff come in to clean or refresh without a safe in the room. The free breakfast was sub standard... again not for the price we paid.

RUDE AND CARELESS
Pros:

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The employees are rude and careless!! We stayed there for our sons wedding. The day of the wedding they shut the water off while my husband was mid shower and wouldn’t turn it back on so he could rinse off!! I called the front desk. I was told they “scheduled” the water to be shut off after check out (good idea). But they never told the guests that we’re not checking out the water was going to be shut off!! The front desks exact response was “what do you want us to do? Call all the guests?” My response was if you could “schedule” the water shut for after checkout then you would have had time to place signs in the breakfast area, or on the elevator door and even yes, call the guests that did not check out. They were horribly rude and careless. It’s too bad this hotel has given me a bad feeling about Best Western. I will never choose a Best Western again. We have a local Best Western. I know several people that work there that would never treat guests the way this hotel treated us. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel!!!! And this is only half of the story!!!!

Convenient and cool!
Pros:

Close to Cooperstown Dreams Park. The heat was oppressive (100+ with humidity!) so having a pool, a working ice machine, and a cool room with fridge and freezer were very welcome after a day outside, watching baseball. A great breakfast before we left for the Park in the morning was also a great start to our day.

It was ok. Not sure I would stay here again.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were both nice.

Cons:

Our room smelled musty. The room had hardly any hot water. The stopped on the bathtub did not work for my children to take a bath instead of a shower. The carpet around the air conditioner unit was always soaking wet. The carpet in the whole room felt grimy and was dirty. Our socks were filthy from walking around in the room.
