The bathroom corners really needed cleaning but otherwise good
Pros:

Food was very good..the dinner waitress was very good & our meal came in a timely manner

Cons:

We had to wait for a very long time for our food at breakfast. I'm sure there was only 1 waitress & I believe she was also helping with food prep & waiting on the whole restaurant. They put onions on my husband's potatoes & forgot the cheese on both

Dirty and dated
Pros:

We went to visit some farm markets this spring, and booked a room. The room with jetted tub was available for the weekend, we cancelled and booked elsewhere after checking in seeing the state of disrepair. The pictures on their website are clearly dated compared to new build hotels condo style buildings on the 403/401 corridor, and things don't seem to get repaired until they break so badly they can't be repaired.

The furniture is a bit beaten up, and the sofa and chairs are badly faded and bothered my dust allergy. The carpets are dirty and have many rips and tears. The pictures of the 1 King Jetted Tub room show a small shower stall and a hot tub side-by-side. The on the wall hair dryer in beige looks yellowed and brown, along with the plugs. Not romantic to have a toilet next to the hot tub.

It was built in 1989. It subsequently underwent a major renovation in 2016. I don't think the standards are high here, you can make a pretty lobby but if the rooms aren't kept up it makes the stay questionable. Ten years is a long time for a reno in this industry.

This place fills up quickly because of sports tournaments in the summer, not much choice here in town. You will be disappointed. If you need to stay, bring your pillow from home and enjoy the outdoor pool if you can.

Rooms are a DUMP
Pros:

Rooms were a DUMP. We had stayed there previously and booked based on that experience. Booked a month in advance. Were stuck in old part of hotel. Rooms are dark and dingy. Paint badly chipped on all trim. Desk and closet trim badly scratched. A/C was so loud we could not run it at night. Sink drains didn't drain properly. DO NOT stay here unless they guarantee a room in new part of hotel.

Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous.

Cons:

There was excessive noise coming from the unit beside us which lasted until late in the morning. Also, we were told we would be receiving a $50 credit for our next stay but we didn't receive it.

Great room and friendly staff
Pros:

The room was very nice, spacious and clean.
The bed was very comfortable, check in was easy and the person at the front desk who's name I unfortunately can't remember was SUPER nice.
The room was very cheap and my expectations were greatly exceeded.

Cons:

If I had to nit pick, the front parking lot was full so I had to park in the back to carry all my stuff in. Perhaps I could have stopped out front temporarily to do this and make the trips shorter, but I'm not the kind of person that would jam up the parking lot for my convenience lol.
