Staff- Nice, but could have maybe done more to help with a problem I was having with the group staying next door

Cons:

There was a group next door (part of a larger group) CONSTANTLY slamming their entrance door waking me up between 10pm-2:30am. I called the front office from my cell to make them aware. While I was on the phone with the front desk personnel, the group was walking past my front door very loudly while engaging in horseplay
(all adults), so I opened my door and told them that they had woken me up several times and that they were extremely loud. The front desk person said since I spoke to the group myself, to wait and see if they were quit after that.
I was awoken at 12:30am with a loud door slam. I reported it to the front desk personnel. They said they would go talk to the group next door. I don't know if the group was spoken to, but the problem continued, as I was awoken again by a loud door slam at approx 2:30am.
This SAME large group DOMINATED the whole pool/Jacuzzi/ bbq area for hours and hours (approx noon-9:45pm) making it extremely difficult for any other paying customers to enjoy this perk. There were so many people from this group at the pool area, I noticed they were bringing additional chairs from their room and taking them to the pool area to accommodate for seating.
*This large group had multiple rooms throughout the hotel.
Upon checking out of the hotel I expressed my feelings about my experience. The front desk person said that since it was booked through a 3rd party that they couldn't refund me nor give me any points.
He also took my phone number and said he would give it to the manager, I never received a call.
My total for 2 nights was over $500. This was not a good experience for my son and I. ☹️

We made the mistake of not updating in advance that we were going to have our small dog with us thinking that the rooms were all dog friendly based on what we saw online. The front desk staff helped to still accommodate us with an ADA room that was available for the night. While the room itself was a little less ideal for us because of the way it was set up for disabilities, I'm grateful that staff was accommodating.

Cons:

Room smelled a bit, to say the least, like a hospital room. Otherwise no other cleanliness concerns.

Roomy, quiet and comfortable accommodations in Bishop, not far from the center of town.
Pros:

The host was very helpful and checked us in right away. Our suite was great - we had two rooms - one like a living room with a couch and a table with chairs, a counter and a TV, and the other a separate bedroom, which also had a TV. There also were two sinks - one in the bedroom and one between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Cons:

I wish the pool and spa were inside- it was a very hot day, so we ended up not using either.
