Hotel Cycle

This was the perfect place to stay before the start of the bike tour. It was walking distance from Shimanami Japan Bike Rental and the Onomichi train station. Great breakfast too.

Loved the trendy, rustic, industrial look and feel of the place. The cycle theme was great.

The hotel is amazing!

We stayed for one night before renting bicycles and starting our cycling trip, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel has a unique, modern design with a strong cycling-themed atmosphere.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed, plus the coffee was absolutely delicious.

The location is ideal - close to the station, the ferry, bike rental shops, and the city center.
On the ground floor, there’s a bar, restaurant, café, and a great terrace, which we really enjoyed.
Breakfast was also excellent - a combination of à la carte options and a buffet, everything was very tasty.

A special thanks to the staff as well, they were very kind and helpful, and even assisted us with sending our luggage to the next destination.

I was there to ride the Shimanano Kaido.. Loved the hotel itself. My room was amazing! So big. Huge stone tub. Loved all the cyclist perks. Also liked the adjoining market, cafe, and restaurant.

The hotel is very unique in terms of design and location. It is not far from the train station and the town center, but overlooking the sea. Wonderful and modern rooms, there are a lot of facilities in the same complex (bar, shops, bakery).

Prachtige locatie vlak bij het startpunt van de erg mooie fietsroute. Je kan ook fietsen huren bij deze locatie. Ze waren tip-top in orde. Kamer was erg mooi en het personeel heel vriendelijk.

Really interesting hotel built inside old wharf warehouse. Very comfortable rooms. Bar, Cafe and restaurant in the same warehouse. Great location.

L’esprit, la situation. Le style, l’espace. De dormir dans un grand hub multifonctions. Le concept de l’hôtel lié au cyclotourisme et au développement de la destination d’Onomichi et des îles en 2014 fonctionne admirablement bien.

We loved relaxing in the seating area on the boardwalk outside the restaurants.

This hotel is located along the shore walk in Onomichi well located to bike rentals and other bike support Infrastucture. It is geared to support cyclist which most of the guests are. The restaurant is great for dinner (make reservations) and good for breakfast. The accommodations are better than cyclist would normally get on rides but functional perhaps for regular travellers. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom adequate. The rooms are a little tight. All and all, a 10 for cyclists and an 8 for non cyclist travellers.

Perfect end to the Shiminami bike ride! Great design and adjacent amenities. Comfortable beds and cool design. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
