This is a pleasant place to stay.

The hotel is amazing!
The location is divine, surrounded by nature, amazing sightseeing and clean air

We loved our stay there! The staff was not only helpful but very friendly and kind. They gave us amazing recommendations and tips for our trip.

The breakfast was delicious! If you have the opportunity to reserve it, please do! All products are local and absolutely tasty

We would love to go back one day in the future:)

Wir kommen nicht wieder, Preis / Leistung stimmt nicht.

Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, die Lage und die Ruhe.

Cons:

Unser Basic Doppelzimmer war so winzig klein, es grenzt schon fast an eine Frechheit, dass man so etwas als Doppelzimmer verkauft. Wenn ich und meine Frau aneinander vorbei kommen wollten, musste sich einer von beiden auf das Bett legen. Und wir sind nicht übergewichtig...
Kein Platz um unsere beiden Sporttaschen irgendwo abzustellen, nur ein kleiner Schrank mit einer einzigen Ablage.
Leselampe nur auf einer Seite vom Bett und so schwach, dass man nicht lesen kann.
Badezimmer ok, aber auch nur sehr schwach beleuchtet und ohne Lüftung. Die Befestigung des Duschvorhangs hat sich schon beim kleinsten Ziehen gelöst.
Und die Fernbedienung für den Fernseher hatte keine Batterien. Als wir das bemerkt haben war es schon zu spät, um an der Rezeption neue zu holen.

"Perfect Overnight Stay Before Our Moléson Hike

We stayed at Hotel de Gruyères for one night before hiking up Moléson and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the Gruyères region. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay before our hike. The breakfast was excellent and gave us a great start to the day.
