I have stayed at luxury properties all over the world as a Marriott Titanium member, and I can confidently say that the Cotton House Hotel in Barcelona is easily in my top five. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless.

The Service: The attention to detail here is unmatched. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive to our every need.

The Food & Drink: Easily a major highlight of the stay. The bar serves up the most amazing, fresh craft cocktails. Breakfast was an absolute standout—do not miss the eggs benedict or the traditional Iberian jamón with fresh tomato bread. I still dream about it/

The Rooms & Location: Our room perfectly blended modern luxury with gorgeous high ceilings that made the space feel grand yet comfortable. Plus, the central location is unbeatable for exploring Barcelona.

I am already counting down the days until I can go back. If you are looking for top-tier luxury and impeccable service in Barcelona, this is it!

The bed was a fabulous.

Centrally located between L'Example and the Gothic Quarter. It is within walking distance to many of the main sites in Barcelona. This hotel is in a beautifully restored turn of the century building filled with many examples of the era.

The room was comfortable and very well designed with a very nice walk-in closet and bathroom. As always, the Marriott bed is very comfortable.

The breakfast was in a very nice room and very well prepared with many choices. We enjoyed it every day. The server was very nice and attentive to our needs. He would come around often to make sure everything was okay and ask if we needed anything else.

The personnel was very polite and professional since the moment we walked in.

This was the first time we stay in this area, we will definitely return.

Stayed here to spend a weekend before a conference. I was unlucky because my luggage did not come with me while transitting through Rome. The Concierge kept track of my lost luggage and updated me in real time through Whatsapp. Such a service. A big hand to their Concierge team. They were also excellent in recommending perfect restaurants suitable for each occasion. A big hands for a super-team. Thank you and I will be back!

Tiny rooms. Not a 5 star hotel in any way shape or form. Like a boutique 3/4 star at best. Just a really disappointing experience and stay. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs. I'd say a room here is worth $300 a night at the very maximum $220-225 probably correct. Breakfast is pretty uninspiring too.

Can't imagine they get many repeat customers here. Overall very odd hotel with lots of very young staff.

We stayed one night after a week in Portugal. The Cotton House experience misses the mark immediately, in the lobby. You walk in from a busy street into a small vestibule with an overhead door loudly blasting air at you -- just like a big box store. This vestibule is the lobby. Music is irritating instead of welcoming or calm. Everything is crammed into the small, loud space: the front desk staff, the bellman, guests waiting for taxis, etc. I couldn't wait to get out of the lobby -- how odd. The hotel's hallways and elevator area all look like an old hotel in need of an update. The rooms are lovely and well maintained, but small -- leaning towards cramped. The best part of this hotel is the stylish second floor -- which is where the lobby should be. It's where you'll find the very helpful concierge, access to the restaurant and library room shown in the photos. But little time is actually spent in this beautiful area. The breakfast patio and food are great. I'd definitely stay elsewhere in the future.

Geannuia and Rodrigo are simply the best people I’ve ever seen in these jobs. I would be upset if they aren’t here when I come back next year.

This is a stunning hotel in a great location in Barcelona. The restaurant and breakfast were stellar. We had a beautiful room overlooking the terrace. The history of the building makes this place special, but the staff was impeccable. They attended to every request and often anticipated what we needed. We could not have been more delighted and wish we had more time to stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is charming and the decor is stunning. So much history. Super comfy bed and luxurious room. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed, especially Alejandro. We loved how close it was to walk to shops and restaurants. Even late at night we felt very safe. I highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
