Acostar Hotel

Péssimo lugar para ficar. Estive por 3 dias e os funcionários são muito muito arrogantes. O quarto não tem muito espaço sem conforto nenhum.

I failed to note on the Booking.com description that the hotel mentioned there might be noise disturbances. We had a four-night stay, and during our first two nights, we did not notice any noise. But on our remaining nights, it turns out that there is a dance club right across the street. The loud, pounding music lasted from 11pm until 4:30am. Bars are open Thurs thru Sat, so this was the evident result. In addition, many drunken clubgoers were out in the street, whooping it up; yelling, laughing and loud conversation, and singing. Because our room was one of few located at the front of the hotel (the twin rooms are all located at the front), we were completely unable to avoid the noise and could not sleep. Our recommendation, for anyone staying here, is to schedule a room at the rear of the hotel. This faces a garden area with trees... the street noise cannot be heard, as near as we can determine. Had I known about the noise in advance, we would have chosen a rear room. Also, the twin rooms, at least, are quite small... barely enough room to move around.

Our room had a toilet that was leaking and it smelled like a septic tank the whole 3 nights. We reported it, they knew about it already but still allowed us to stay in in with no discount, no offer to move rooms... nothing. It wasn't fixed, or attended to apart from bathmats to soak it up. It smelled so bad it was not ok.

Location in front of the Club. Every day during our stay there since app.21:00 till app.5:30 there was so laud (maybe because of Akustik in old block), that I couldn’t sleep at all and even earplugs didn’t help me. There were a lot of men outside (some in strappy underwear for BDSM only), who was making a lot of noise the whole night till early morning at the entrance to the club.

The window did not close,but just for a ventilation. There were damaged items in the room. It was also dirty there. For instance the only working lamp in the room and fan were covered in a thick layer of dust. Or the towel, that was covered in stains that couldn't been washed off. There was also no working ventilation either in bathroom or in the room. It was hard to pack belongings because of the darkness (luck of the light in the room). The hotel was fully booked, so it was not possible to change the room.

De kamer, dat leek nergens op de gordijnen hingen los, de kamer veels te klein. Ook niet de kamer die we geboekt hebben, de verwarming hing op standje nul en dan nog de kledingkast dat was 2 plankje meer niet. En het aller ergste is nog het lawaai van de church precies tegen over. Van 11 tot 4. Niet boeken dit hotel.

Both the room and the bathroom were quite small for two persons. One person would feel fine in the room. Hotel does not have a lift. This is an important consideration if you don't like stairs.

Hôtel vétuste, ne correspond pas du tout aux photos de présentation de l’établissement !
La chambre était minuscule (j’avais précisé être avec un adolescent?)et les meubles en mauvais état. Salle de bain correcte mais flexibles de douche en mauvais état !
Au dessus de bars bruyants tard dans la nuit.
Au Check-Out très bizarre, la personne me dis qu’elle n’a pas cette chambre sur sa liste …..???
