The hotel was located in a great location. The staff was very helpful. We liked the little amenities brought to the room (bottle of wine and chocolates), and the complimentary free drinks at the bar. And we enjoyed the candies each night that were put out in the lobby. We highly recommend The Godfrey.
The Godfrey Hotel was exceptional! The staff was amazing. There were so many little things that stood out…greetings, opening doors, afternoon tea, evening snacks, even changing the rugs in the elevator. We also had housekeeping service every day. These days that rarely happens so it was a pleasant surprise. All the little touches made this stay truly wonderful!

Good Boutique hotel, great central location, does not try to be something it is not. It will be my go to place whenever I stay in Boston. Friendly staff and just everything works as it should.
Great hotel in a great area. There are plenty of bars/restaurants in the area. The hotel is connected to George Howell Coffee. He basically sold his twenty something coffee chain and the Frappuccino trademark to Starbucks. He is one of the pioneers of the specialty coffee movement. So if you're into coffee, enjoy. The room was comfortable and quiet. Well appointed too. The complementary snacks and water in the rooms is a nice touch. The lobby bar was good as well. It's fully stocked and the bartenders are friendly. The staff at the front door are a bunch of great guys. I'd give them all a shout out but I don't know their names. I know that Dren was there early in the morning of our departure. He gave us a good send off with a smile and a wish for safe travels. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall, the hotel was very nice. However, I was disappointed I had a reservation for an executive suite which was supposed to have a street view in my room did not. This was an added cost and I did not receive it.
