Everything
Nothing
All good!
Restaurant meal wasn’t enough ! Had vege stack!
Big room friendly staff
The lift wasn't working
Good location, clean, comfortable
Couldn’t get the tv to work, internet kept dropping out
Nice clean room, nice meal, great staff BUT
The newly renovated walls are not built properly our next door neighbours snoored until about 4 pm, then started talking , and their radio came on at 4.30 am they were still talking at 8.30 when we left, we were going to leave at 5 am and drive back to chch
Everything else was great except this issue.
Very thin walls, not built with a proper sound proof system, and I'm sure other have said this.
The room was very spacious, excellent furnishings, big bathroom although didnt need all that room. Great there is a carpark for those staying in and others visiting the restaurant. Also awesome there is a heat pump in the room.
1. The lift was out the first night and I have bad knees and wanted to go to the restaurant and have a look around but as i was on the 2nd floor, I decided not to go.
2. I thought the restaurant downstairs kitchen was open from early in the morning and then onwards but it closed at 9am.
So had to seek breakfast elsewhere. Although everything is close by, did not realise that and the main reason I chose The Grosvenor was for the restaurant and easy access to the restaurant. I then realised you could order breakfast to be delivered by room service but I wanted the experience of eating out (not moaning, just letting you know others may experience that same issue re breakfast downstairs).
Everything. Loved our lady in restaurant. Amazing service. Most amazing food.
Location was excellent
BARMAN IN THE PUB WAS A GREAT, HELPFUL GUY.
BATHROOM AMENITIES CHEAP.
Perfect location, bathroom was clean and well stocked!
Bed was comfy and a good section of lights!!!
There were not enough hooks so there was nowhere to hang jackets, or clothes, no soap dish in the shower, and my Dad's room there was someone plaster on the floor! (Ewww)
Building works were interesting but finished at a decent time, despite being very loud and sweary on our arrival!
