Disappointed. Old hotel
Pros:

The hotel and the rooms are old and not very clean . The AC is very loud . The corridors are difficult to navigate

Beautiful clean, warm room, lovely and peaceful which is what we wanted
Pros:

I loved the fact that we didnt have to go anywhere for our meals or a drink. It was lovely and peaceful and warm. Great idea having a washing machine and dryer to use, and that the washing powder was provided

Cons:

The bed did have a obvious dip in it and even though the washer and dryer was awesome to have it wouldn't spin the clothes dry. Also the bubble bath did not bubble at all.

Great Building, location etc.

Cons:

Only thing that lets it down is all the big daylight "Disks" lighting throughout cafe / reception. Light colour (Cool / Daylight) clashes with the rest of the decor and makes dining feel like you're in an Office / warehouse with fluorescent lighting. Otherwise all good.

This is just delightful. Modernised old building with a history. That history feels maintained. .

Room was wonderful! Very comfortable. Loved the sofa and soaking tub

Dinner Menu could be more diverse. More vegetable choices. Bar menu and cocktails could be improved.

Great Hotel for your stay in Dunedin
Pros:

Great space, location and service was excellent. Gym facilities are comprehensive.

Cons:

Hotel Parking option was very expensive. Plus looked pretty empty for the entire 5 day stay.

No bath or swimming/spa.
