Pros:

We are a group of six regular travellers. We have found the Provincial Boutique Hotel to be a delightful combination of style, tranquility and hospitality; with staff catering for every need and more. The selection and quality of food has been excellent, so much so we have dined in for breakfast (X 3 days) and Sunday roast dinner.

Nice.
Pros:

Great location in a premium area, and the hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the room was a little small.

Unfortunately our stay did not live up to expectations.
Pros:

Location was convenient. Recent renovation/ interior design was tasteful.

Cons:

Very small, pokey room, which normally accommodates one person, was allocated to a couple. There was no room to fit 2 people with luggage which was unfortunately not explained clearly on the website. The customer service response to our predicament was inadequate and we were expected to pay a substantial additional amount to upgrade to another room. A reasonable negotiation of the extra cost was not possible. Also, we were told that the tariff was more expensive than normal due to an event being held that weekend in Ballarat. It seemed to us the hotel was more concerned with its profit than its customers.
The food quality and menu offerings in the
associated restaurant were disappointing,
although the service was pleasant
and accommodating.

One night stay with a lovely breakfast
Pros:

Great spot. Clean. Parking onsite with locked gate at night. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Cons:

The property has a lot of perfume. It's very strong. Using the bathroom means the fan is on and it's very annoying and loud. Room 19, downstairs with the view of a brick wall.

Good place and god location would stay again
Pros:

Bed was overly soft if you're not into that. Rooms are nice but a little small. Bathroom size was great.

Cons:

Noise. Was in room 16 and you could hear everything outside in the morning and night. Walls seemed not insulated. Only draw back. Was woken up every morning by people checking out at 630

I had a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

The room was clean, and decor beautiful. It was quite a small room, but okay for one person for a couple of nights. The location was good for my purposes. I also appreciated being on the ground floor. I had breakfast in the restaurant Lola the next morning and it was absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and efficient. Decor of the restaurant outstanding. The food was delicious. I would definitely return there to eat again.

Cons:

Although the room size suited me for the night, it would have felt a little cramped if I had stayed for more than two nights.
