We love being on the beach and close to restaurants
We had a room ground floor 104 the bed is really uncomfortable. We spoke with the person at the desk
Beds were comfortable, great location, clean
Bathroom needs some work. The handle fell off, the toilet seat was loose, grout was just nasty looking and the hot and cold water were opposite of what they should be. Therefore, the toilet water was hot, which isn't a big deal. The pool didn't look very clean either. Most of the time you can smell chlorine and you know it's clean.

Outside beach view ! Can't be beat! Nice pool area. Our room faced ocean and pool, bottom floor was great. Nice yellow chairs outside were a plus ! Bed was comfortable, no bugs. $50 hotel deposit fee, lower than most. Location! Close to restaurants, surf store, gas station right across street.
Hotel protects sea turtles level 3 has 0 outside lights fyi.

Shower is too small and light in bathroom is dimmer than most, room could be a lot cleaner.
Ac made a lot of noise, no breakfast options.
But view alone makes the little stuff not matter. Parking is hit/or miss, but there are spaces outside of hotel area to use.

It wasn't too far from Daytona and other places that you could visit. Everyone was friendly, very clean. Pool was nice, and easy access to the beach. Very beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
We like coming here . On the beach and close to everything we need.
This time we stayed in room 104 and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I let the person know up front. We have stayed many times before and never had this room . The bed needs to be replaced.

It was on the beach with a nice pool
Although it said refurbished - it needs a lot more. The shower had mold and not very clean as was the entire property.
The best part is being right on the beach.
Our room was dirty. The beds may of been clean but the bathroom smelt like a dirty urinal with used hygiene products in the dirty shower and the kitchen was missing items and the dishes were dirty. We also had dead roaches in one of the drawers. Was trying to see what could be done for compensation since I had to clean the room upon check in and it took the day before check out to be told that they only offered 25% back because they offered to change our room. I declined as I already cleaned the room (free service provided to them) and I wasn’t able to have to go clean another. After showing pictures of what we dealt with they did offer 50% back as it was “the best they could do”.
We have been going to the chateau Mar for 6 years. It has a great location with access to the beach. It has been our little haven every summer. The remodel is beautiful inside, and the new beds are very comfortable.
Since it has been remodeled there has been some staff changes, and in my personal opinion, it lost some of its charm.

Location was great.
The entire hotel experienced a power outage due to a transformer malfunction, necessitating my relocation to an alternative accommodation. Unfortunately, I was not reimbursed for the unused portion of my reservation.
Great location and perfect view! Very clean and staff was very helpful! We appreciated our stay and will return!
