Chateau Mar Beach Hotel NEWLY REFURBISHED

Only complaint I had was that I had 6 roaches throughout the room. One crawling on toilet seat. Another on bed. Inside cabinet. And 2 just roaming the floor. I did notify front desk. Besides that it was nice.

Having to realize that we had to go back to reality and that we couldn't live on the beach in this wonderful place the rest of our lives. We have zero complaints about our stay.,.....................................................,............

Everything met my expectations, highly recommend

The cleaning is bad dirty sheets and towels bathrooms shower with hair bathroom vent so dirty refrigerator dirty they need improved the cleaning

My first assigned room had not been cleaned. The manager moved me to a better room but there were no towels. The shower looked old and the room smelled musty. I did not feel safe there because my room was easily accessible from the outside. Management leaves at 9:00 PM so nobody to call. The local area can be dicey. My room didn’t appear to be remodeled and the facility appeared to be rather old and worn.

We paid for an ocean view. Unfortunately you had to look past the parking lot to the ocean. The elevator smelled like fish. There was sand in the bed when we got there. It seemed like everything was rigged with extention cords. For a suite the bathroom was small.

Nothing

The main thing is I wished they would have some throw rugs by the inside door .the sand gets all in the room.

There is only 4 room with privet balcony , everything else that appear to have a view with balcony is just the pathway to get to your room, so there is not privacy. No much issue for me as I was there during the week day but from Friday to Sunday you can see the number of people increase .

Only one umbrella on the pool deck and it was kinda broken plus be careful walking around pool very slippery. The steps going down to the beach is full of mold because there is a leak from the shower that drips constantly. The room was ok for the money but we stayed in room 308 and we could hear everything in the room next to us plus they were smoking weed and you can smell it in our room. There is a connecting door that’s locked, but the smell was so bad it smelt like a skunk. We stayed two nights they don’t clean your room while you are there so we only had two bath towels there is a washer and dryer on the floor so I guess you could take your towels and wash them yourself, but we chose not to do that. This was our second time staying at this hotel the first time we had oceanfront king suite It was a giant room and it was fine. This was a spur of the moment weekend getaway we won’t stay again, but for a family who’s on a budget it’s fine there were so many kids.

It seems silly , but I wish they would put some small throw rugs down by the front entry . The sand gets all on the room floor.
